Very Dissapointed with the service provided while attempting to purchase a property through McClure Conveyancing the sellers solicitor. Missed our move date by 1 week and counting, due to missing building warrants and completion certificates, which they tried to avoid retreiving by offering an indemnity policy. Interestingly they seem to have failed on 2 of the 4 'C's' that they advertise on their website: - Conveyancing - McClures check the title deeds for no nasty surprises to ensure that you receive and give a good title. And, most importantly, that you get your keys on time! They failed to check the title deeds and as a result we do not have our keys on time - Cost - McClures have a sophisticated case management system which helps keep costs down. We can quote a fixed fee in advance. - I imagine that this is the main issue as they dont want to spend any extra money or time sorting out the actual issues - Communication - McClures realise that it is not enough to do a good job. You need to be kept in the picture. What is routine to McClures can be stressful to the client. Accordingly we appreciate that regular communication is vital to our relationship with you. - Communication has been appauling with information only coming from them when pressured. - Cross-border - thankfully this was not an issue in our case, as i would dread to think what kind of service would be provided.  All in all very dissapointing, I will actively be discouraging colleagues friends and family from using them.

Would not use this firm what a time I had They were trying to charge me twice for a divorce Stating lost files took me to court and this was after a two year period after all proceedings had been concluded out of the blue comes a demand for another £3600 Fortunately I had kept all correspondence dates relating to the divorce and I fought Mcclures as I had already paid this years earlier they offhandedly tried to undermine me Cut a long story short I gained legal aid and got another solicitor after a couple of court dates later McClures stated make any offer to finish this dispute I made a menial offer which was accepted by them just to get rid of this nightmare  Would not recommend this firm to my worst enemy

Avoid this place at all costs. They are not interested and only pay lip service to their clients. Very unprofessional far better out there. give this place a miss.
