Fantastic team and very welcoming. I appreciated how they explained everything. The service was excellent as well.
Terrible service. We waited over an hour for my sisters appointment then to have her appointment with Dr Fernandes in the waiting area with everyone listening. Then off the doctor went all of 5 minsnDamien took us to a room to look at the limbs for repair when my sister showed him a lump on her stump as she was embarrassed to show it in the reception area. which I can fully understand. He said we need the doctor to look at that. We then had to wait again for the doctor to come back and take a look.nWhen the doctor eventually came back I conveyed to her and Damien that we wasn't pleased about the whole situation in seeing my sister in the waiting area if she had been properly assessed in a room this could have been avoided. I was told they had other emergencies and there was only one doctor for the whole prosthetics service. Fair enough, but surely the NHS hasn't started to carry out appointments in the waiting area !nWe never, in all the years we had been going to Harold Wood experienced such service. My sister was taken into a room properly assessed by a doctor asked to look at the arm stump and the fitting etc.nPerhaps my complaint will help to avoid this situation for my sister and others in the future.

So lucky to come across this service. We thought we would have to go to Stanmore for future appointments for our son who recently became an amputee. We were coming to terms with what's happened and spoke with Lauren who couldn't of been any nicer. She really helped us and continues to. Came across this hospital by chance and they took us on and we've been several times getting our boy ready for his first prosthetic leg with Lauren's help. Amazing place.
