Myself and my friend had a lovely afternoon tea today. We were made very welcome and well looked after. Sandwiches, cakes and scones were delicious. Would definitely recommend
A seriously impressive selection of cakes to go with my coffee during my cycling stop off. Although there were no bike racks, there was plenty of space.
I went to Mayfield to get some dessert for visiting my parents and I was not disappointed by the range of options to choose from! The bread pudding is particularly good, and there were seasonal items in for Halloween too which were nice. The staff are always really friendly and the range of options is not just limited to cakes but also bread and other pantry items.
We visited the cafe after hearing good reviews but was unfortunately really disappointed. The staff were lovely, really friendly and the cafe itself was clean and very welcoming. Our food took 40 minutes to come out and was cold. We found the price of the standard breakfast far too high for what was served.
Bakery, tearoom, and cafe. Ranges from a wide selection of fresh bread, sandwiches, and sweet treats on offer, to full meals in the cafe. Staff are lovely. Is a bit more expensive than a supermarket but as a small and local business am happy to support.
A little gem of a spot I discovered recently just a few minutes off the M25 junction 7A ,heading in the direction of Harlow. Lovely happy staff. Whenever I use the M11 now and need a break for coffee or food not fuel this is the place to go to rather than the impersonal crowded motorway service stations, providing that your timing fits in with their opening hours-between 1000 and 1600hrs I think it is
Oh my days. Lived in Harlow all my life why haven't I been here !!! A must go. Going back again Friday for Christmas day sausage and bacon at the sausage factory and fresh bread and rolls for the Christmas weekend...lovely lovely lovely....
None of the staff have gloves on! Last 4 or 5 times been in there bread has NOT been fresh!! Will never go back. Would rather go to Dorringtons as least there bread is always fresh and not as expensive. I have had Afternoon Tea in there a few years back and that really wasn't great either. I could go on............. Its a shame, it could be really nice!
VEGAN VEGAN VEGAN, what a fantastic surprise i got today at Mayfair bakery. on site freshly made dairy free pizza, made by a very polite Italian fella who was just the best chief i had come across, he hand prepared the dough, sauces & topping 5am this morning i think that's dedication at its finest. Thank you guys
A handy stop for coffee and a bite while on a Sunday morning bike ride. Staff friendly and helpful. Bread pudding was very good as was the 2 sausage sandwich. Tables outside in the courtyard. Quite a busy place.
