Great produce and friendly staff. The cooked ham is delicious as are the sausage rolls and scotch eggs.  A good selection of cheeses, cooked meats, salads and bread. Will be back to sample more delights

A real unexpected dissappointment. Having eaten at the middle house pub many times and knowing the standards of food and service they adhere to I was most dissatisfied with the very rude manger/owner of the middle house shop. This does not reflect the attitude of the staff working behind the counter who were great The two coffees that we bought from the shop were sadly as dissapointing as the welcome received from the manager. Give it a go yourself if in the area tho.... Everyone has a bad day and the reviews others have left appear to be mostly positive.

We had our first visit to Middle House yesterday. Warm welcome, lovely open fires and interiors, attentive service, great food and drinks! Would highly recommend
