An upmarket cafe in the heart of Upper Rathmines. Prices are not too bad and it's a clean, neat establishment. They do a nice Irish breakfast and have a range of other tastes to keep a hungry mouth fed, as well as the usual selection of coffees and teas any decent cafe has.
Very good food and service. Lovely owner Tom who made us feel right at home.
Quiet cafe. Bit chilly could do with heating. Hot chocolate delicious but at 4.50 would want to be. Would return for the peace and quiet
Would be nice if they updated their menu as soup and other dishes aren't served during the summer but are still on the menu. Got food in around 10 minutes which was fast. The ham and cheese toastie was quite tasty but the bread was a bit dry. Nice toilet downstairs. Overall, it was a nice place to get food and not far from trinity Hall but definitely too expensive for a student on a budget.
Love this place. Nice setting. Very clean inside. Friendly staff and good food. I find it easy to relax here. Perfect for some time to yourself or enjoying good company. Recommended.
A quite special location. Highly recommended for delicious food and quite exceptional coffee. Located on a block of true "foodie" shops, it's a beautiful spot to while away the morning/evening with a light bite. Do yourself a favour.Drop by
Services is not friendly. The older one seems to be annoyed with the world and the rest just didn't seem impressed with working there. Not child friendly, weird since there is a park right in front of them. We felt unwelcomed when I went with my kid and a friend with her's. I gave it another try another day with my family and saw rolling eyes. Coffee was good, cake very dry. There is no other coffee shop around so they have the customers from around. I bet if another one opened they would see they need a better approach. Not particularly clean nor comfortable.
Had lunch in the cafe, really amazing croque monsieur, nice coffee, relaxed atmosphere and great service. Had a breakfast roll another day and it was absolute delicious. I really like the decor, it's very relaxing indeed. There's also a massive deli selection with all sorts of beautiful cakes attached, highly recommend trying it out.
Had a lovely brunch here on a Sunday. It wasn't too busy and the Eggs Benedict was brilliant. Nice and cozy with friendly service. I didn't get anything from the bakery side but it all looked delicious. I'll definitely be back again!
Breakfast fry up is just average. Tried twice...Asked for certain stuff well done and slight changes. Both times food came out as per menu and not as requested. Bread and coffee is nice though...
