Most probably the best food and drinks place in the area. We had lunch here one afternoon on Saturday and it was great ambience, excellent service, helpful and knowledgeable staffs. Presentation and food are of the good quality.
Had to pay for the chips mistakenly served as we thought it was a part of our mains and ate it ‍ and very rudely explained why they still HAVE to charge Got my main, the pork belly and it was literally not edible as nearly 90% of it was fat. Had no chance to tell anyone as none of the staff were checking how the food is. Overall it was a totally unpleasant experience and we most likely wont return.
Great cozy inn with a fireplace. They do have nice vegetarian options on the menu though we were here for drinks and desserts. Definitely worth revisiting!
Came here for dinner with a friend and we had a really nice time. The food was tasty, I had the pork belly with dauphinoise for mains and the churros for dessert. The service was also good too. Our server, Livy, was very attentive and friendly.
Nicely decorated in the restaurant and, this place has some sentimental meaning for me but, I just wanted to give some feedback. Basically, the prices for food here are just insane now for what you get. I get that things cost more now but, if you’re paying £16 for fish and chips, or nearly £20 for a burger, they’d better be the best ones you’ve ever had. Sadly they aren’t, it’s a chain pub so not as nice as your independent country pub, locally sourced grub, all while costing more per dish. I wouldn’t rush back now at this price point, as you can get better for cheaper.
Food was excellent, selection of drinks was brilliant. Bar service was very slow. We had to ask five times for a bottle of water we ordered before it was eventually sent. They were also out of one of the desserts items we selected as well as one of the wines we ordered. Ambience was lovely and the cost was excellent however. Parking: Tons of spaces even on a busy Sunday.
My wife and I both are 3 courses off the vegan menu, we would like to say how great the option on the menu were. All our courses we very good and would like to congratulate you all on the menu. A vegan menu that is thought out and full of great food is hard to find sometimes. The service was great from all the staff who served us during our time there, so we can only have good things to say about the restaurant/pub. Wheelchair accessibility: N/A Dietary restrictions: We had food from a very good vegan menu and the food was great, all 3 courses were very good, the menu is a very good vegan menu.
A nice atmosphere & great service - personable and friendly without being overbearing. Met here for drinks and a catch-up with a friend and was the perfect spot. Would definitely recommend. Will definitely be back for food as the menu looked varied and interesting and smelled delicious. Parking: Plenty of parking behind.
Great family lunch for a group of 23!! We felt really looked after by Harvey and Yasmina. We were a mixed group of all ages and were very pleased with the service little chaotic but all food was out in good time, tasty and generous portions. My only criticism was lack of non-dairy milk as a few people wanted tea/coffee with oat or something. Other than that, lovely
This was my favourite restaurant and I normally have the same thing and had to ask if there was a new chef as all the food tasted completely different even though I ordered what I always do and it was not at all nice my starter didn't taste right and my main the vegetables tasted like they had been pickled and the potatoe tasted like it was just pepper my friend even tats3d it and agreed with me, I do t know why u have change the way its cooked but we could see into the kitchen and most was being microwaved and pours on to plates, we could here the microwave on constantly l, it's shocking. Why change perfection so disappointed
