Absolutely one of the tastiest places I have ever been for italian food coming from an Italian. The place is in a quite road close to Liverpool Street, it's a quite big restaurant but with a very nice atmosphere inside. There is Italian music in the background which makes everything very pleasant. Portions are massive and the taste is great. I know the chef has had experience in Masterchef couple of seasons ago.
Super starter. That bread is really good and works really well with a plate of antipasto. The main unfortunately was served cold in a cold dish. Not great for tagliatelle with bolognese ragu. It was reheated but that didn’t do the pasta any favours even though that ragu was very tasty. My semi-fredo desert was good although the tiramisu was only OK - no Marsala in this version. We came here a few years back and returned because it was so good. Not so much this time, which is a shame because all that was missing was a little attention to some very important details. Tasty food, service needs more passion.
My favorite Italian restaurant! The food is delicious and they have everything gluten free! I love it and visit every week!
Went there one evening as a group, obviously they couldn’t go wrong with serving items such as bread or dried meats such as salami or mortadella etc as they come prepared out of packages, but when it comes to main dishes such as carbonara or veal my 6 year old son could have done a lot better. 6 of us sent our veals back as they were served cold, they were taken back and must have been reheated, came back even worst, chewy with disgusting taste, non of us touched them. Oh they did well with deserts, again as they were ready made they couldn’t really go wrong! There’s a reason why they have bad reviews, I see why, will never be back. Reason for 2 stars was for the servers who were friendly!
The staff were very friendly but we felt they were quite short staffed, as a result service was slow and it was hard to get attention. This was also the case for the kitchen, it took nearly 3 hours to order and pay the bill, the majority of the time waiting for food to arrive. The starters were nice but the pasta dishes tasted a bit firm and some pieces were stuck together. The flavour and seasoning was good though, just let down by the pasta itself.
The food was oke, the service was very bad. The waiters where not nice, they egnorded us the whole time. When the bill came a woman grabbed our card from our hands. Almost trowing the machine at us. Not saying anything. It's a shame that a nice restaurant is ruind by there staff members
Service and food was on point! We had 4 mains with a desert and wine. Payed less then 150 pound! Superb Italian food, I would go again.
Excellent service , fantastic Italian food , Sandra the very kind manager ,5 stars to this fantastic place … I absolutely recommend
6 dishes ordered. All 6 returned. Lukewarm, or undercooked. Chef came out with a dreadful attitude. Manager said "you know what chefs are like". Cannot recommend.
Healthy and tasty Italian pasta! The chef Federica has been incredibly professional suggesting and explaining the dishes throughout our dinner. I ordered Tortellini goccia d'oro, the taste of the fresh pasta brought me back to my grandma house and made me feel just like home We had a great time in a excellent restaurants with a good atmosphere in the heart of London! Highly recommended !!
