I love this shop for all my herbs and spices and many other items I can't get elsewhere. I'm sure almost all nationalities shop there, I've often asked customers for tips on cooking Thai food or some other dishes from all over the globe, the staff are very good and helpful.
Great shop but everything is over priced and unfresh lots of stuff they sell are rotted an mouldy not fair on customers paying alot money for the products.
Just love this place had most delightful conversation with Jill whenever in Liverpool always call in. Fresh produce , lots of goodies. Lovely staff.

I have shopped at Matas for many years. It's always very interesting with many products not available elsewhere. Staff are extremely helpful and very pleasant.

Costs are a bit high comparatively but you can get Asian foods here.
What's not to love! Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff plus a "Huge range " of fresh foods, spices and more. I haven't been in a better International Foodshop.
