I do like Matalan but the sizes are all wrong.nEven kids sizes.nThey're always 2 sizes smaller than what they say.nI love it that they sell pyjamas to raise money for Alder Hey.nSuch a lovely, kind, generous thing to do and then they use/buy/have made pyjamas that run and run and run.nWash after wash after wash I use colour run sheets and every single time the colour run sheet comes out nearly the same colour as part of the dyed pyjamas.nYou do such a kind thing and then ruin it.

The scent they installed to entice you into the home section is incredible. However, it's not available to buy as it was installed by an outside company. Definitely missed a trick there Matalan! Candles, reed diffusers, oooow delightful, or it would have been....
Went into the store this week with Mum who is in a wheelchair. The first thing we both noticed was just how cold it was in the shop. Apart from being virtually empty customer wise, we both felt so disappointed especially by the Women's clothing range. Where are the ladies coats/jackets? We found one green raincoat & one denim jacket both on mannequins with a small amount of the same hanging. There is a good range of bedding & homewares, but the same things can be purchased in B&M for half the price. There's too much office wear/formal clothing & sports type gear. Man on checkout looked fed up, but a smile & thankyou goes a long way in customer relations. Won't be going back in a hurry!!!
Good quality clothing, reasonable prices, I went to use the self scan checkout but the voucher I had had to go through a main checkout I'd already waited 10 mins until someone had come to help and told me this and the queue was long with only 1 person on the till, however the lady that had come to help opened up a checkout to put me through.
