One of the best pasta I have ever had !!.. the quality of the food is brilliant .. the prices are reasonable for the quality you get.. the restaurant serves pints too and there is a nice vibe to it ... Overall I would give it 8 out of 10 and will defo come back if I'm around !!
I have been a few times for lunch which was an okay experience but the last visit was very disappointing. I order Pollo Milanese with pasta that had no salt, the tomato sauce was tasteless, the chicken was alright but not like other times, they changed the plate this time with a bunch of salt on the pasta and chicken, the salt was overwhelming tried to eat it as I didn't want to make a fuss but was impossible. Back of my head the Italian cooker making comments in Italian, was very unprofessional. I end up eating average pizza and paid for it. I should have left in the first place but I thought to give a chance. Never again.
Great food. Very tasty with large portions. Quick service even on a busy Friday night. Was very loud so difficult to have a conversation. Probably best to go mid week if you want a quiet night.
Table for 9 December 23 the restaurant was very busy with an additional wedding party in the function suite. Was initially worried about the effects on the service could not have been more wrong. 9 very happy customers the food was excellent service was brilliant and a great atmosphere in the restaurant. Thank you to all the staff and management. Dietary restrictions: Very professional handling of our child's nut allergy
Restaurant wasn't busy but was very, very noisy. No idea why large groups were all huddled together at booths - couldn't hear to have a conversation. Staff friendly but obviously some inexperienced food with no cutlery and added parmesan etc took a while to serve yet there were plenty of staff on. No lasagne on the menu, but you can order curried pasta dishes to your hearts content. The food was either claggy or bare - no in between - no idea what the risotto was trying to be not creamy in the slightest-bulked out with chickpeas and anaemic cherry tomatoes though to hide lack of knowledge in cooking risotto. Completely bland, found 1 cut up mushroom in a mushroom risotto. No seasoning whatsoever. Plates had clearly been left under heat lamps had that 'skin' over look and were still served 5 minutes before the other dishes at our table. 'Scoops' of ice cream - more like curls, served in a teeny, tiny metal cup with a flat teaspoon- no wafer/flake as they had run out?! £5.95 for the privilege.. Clean venue and nicely decorated but won't rush back.
ALWAYS TERRIFIC! Been going here regularly for years and NEVER been disappointed. Nice people serving in a sizeable, smartly laid-out, atmospheric premises. And the food is terrific. A good range of Italian favourites, always well presented and extremely tasty. Whether popping in on your oneo, as a couple or as a large group, Massimo's hits the spot. We'll worth visiting.
Tried this place as a freind had recommended it to me, she's been going for years so that was a good sign. Since it was a nice day yesterday we drove to Bearsden and stopped here for something to eat, we managed to get a seat outside which was great! The restaurant is nice inside, the outside seating area is open and ideal for for sun and the staff are polite and attentive which really made a difference. The food is italian with some American twists but still done to a nice quality I find some americanised Italian places can be big eats but lower quality food, we had a starter between us and a main each and all of the food was amazing, I was really impressed and I'd definately recommend this place! If your in Bearsden and want a nice Italian meal defiantely go to massimo's!
Beautiful meals and great service. Staff very attentive.
Have always loved this place.. went for lunch and as always the food was amazing . It was very noisy though and a bit pricey for lunch.Food: 5/5
Ordered a half & half meal which was half pizza & half carbonara & it was delicious. The total bill was £100 but that was between 4 people & including 3 rounds of drinks
