Masjid Al Yaqeen is based in Redhill, Surrey. It is a Masjid that is based purely on the Qur'an and Sunnah.
Masjid Al Yaqeen was established over 20 years ago. But only recently did Allah SWT give us the strength and courage to purchase a building that would be used as a Masjid for the betterment of the deen in Redhill, Surrey.
We have been based at our current and permanent location since September 2012 and have grown significantly since fully establishing ourselves a year ago.
The Masjid is open 5 times a day for the congregational prayers. We have 2 jamaats on a Friday of which sisters are also allowed to attend.
Additionally, we have a weekly Madrasa for children aged 5-16. Teaching them about the beautiful religion of Islam and teaching them how to read the Qur'an as well as many other factors of our religion.
As well as this we have a weekly Arabic language class for brothers aged 16+.
To advance the Islamic faith for the benefit of mankind in accordance with the tenets of the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
We now need to extend the Masjid to help accommodate for the overwhelming number of brothers and sisters that attend on a weekly basis. This means we are required both upwards and outwards, utilising the space we have available to us.
Currently our capacity is 120 worshippers. We are hoping to boost this with the extension, allowing 200+ brothers to pray downstairs at one time and around 100 sisters upstairs.
In order to do this we need to raise £100,000 and we ask and appeal to all brothers and sisters to donate generously and to spread the word and help to expand a Masjid that is based on the teachings of the Holy Qur'an and on the Sunnah of the greatest human to ever walk the face of this earth, the last and final Messenger of Allah SAW.

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in paradise”. (Bukhari & Muslim)
This act of contributing towards sharing in building a Masjid will continue giving you reward in the afterlife because every time someone prays a rak'ah, every time someone learns a bit of the Qur'an there and reads it, every time someone rests there, every time someone learns something about our beautiful deen there and implements their knowledge - part of the reward will reach you for contributing towards building this Masjid insha'Allah.
Our targets over the next few years are not simply to make a place of prayer and children to learn Qur'an but rather we envision a centre that will cater for the needs of local Muslims.
A place to pray and for Children to learn Qur'an is standard for all mosques in the UK.
We have visions and need the support of the local and wider community to allow our visions to become a reality.
Some of the visions which we see and plan for in the near and distant future, with the will of Allah are:
* Weekly Halaqa for men and women.
* Fiqh, Tawheed, Tafseer and other Islamic knowledge classes held for adults and
for children.
* Outside speakers and conferences
* Iftar in the Mosque, where Brothers and Sisters can engage in sharing the
spiritual and communal feeling of Ramadan
* Legal (both secular and Islamic) help provided.
* Children's play area
* Sports links (either a sport/play area in the grounds or close ties with a local
sports centre)
* Nikkah/Janazah facilities
* Counselling services
* And Insha'allah one day in the future, an Islamic school where Children will not
only engage and excel in secular education but also in Islamic education.
This is a dream, but it is a dream which we truly and sincerely pray that Allah will allow to become a reality for Redhill.
Please spread the word by sharing and liking this post onto your walls and asking others to like the page and to like and share this post.
May Allah give the Muslims of Redhill success and bless them with courage, strength and unity to allow this dream to become a reality. Aameen.
