Popped in on Valentine's Day, with no reservation, and was seated immediately. This was one of the few restaurants in town that didn't swap their regular menu for an expensive 3 course set menu for the evening. The food was amazing! Everything was fresh, and served family style so you could share. The service was very good, and the wait staff hovered out of eyesight, without feeling as though they were rushing you. I normally do Indian takeaway, but will definitely put this on my list of full service restaurants for the future.

After living in Dorchester for nearly 2.5 years, my wife and I finally went to Masala and really enjoyed it. The food was great as well as the price. The staff were superb- very attentive, but not over the top. They recognised when we were ready to leave and got us the bill right away. I would definitely go back, for lunch and dinner.

Ordered a takeaway this evening with my partner and I was utterly disappointed. I had a chicken vindaloo and obviously you order this for the heat and variety of spice except it just tasted like someone dumped a kilo of chilli powder over some chicken. The only thing I enjoyed from my takeaway was the Garlic Nann because it wasn't swimming in oil. Utterly disappointed.
