As a junior doctor I used to frequent this vegetarian/vegan cafe on a daily basis for lunch. I just loved their salads, hot lunches and polenta dishes. It was closed during the pandemic and although now open on a reduced menu, I am still glad that we an get some food. Now that I no longer work in this area, I still never fail to visit whenever I am down here.
Great little spot for vegetarian/vegan friendly food. You can have a proper cooked lunch for less than £7. Desserts are good too. I had the wild rice with sautéed vegetables and it was very filling. Cantine style eating with wooden tables makes it charming. It was quite busy even on a normal weekday lunchtime. Recommended.
I've been here a few times and have impressed every time. The prices are unbelievably good. The food is all vegetarian or vegan and all delicious. There is usually not much space to sit but you can take away and you get 20p off if you take your own containers. It's a very cozy place and the food is really delicious and healthy. You get big portions, especially of the side salads, of which there is a lot of choice. The bread rolls are fresh baked and so good! The drinks are all quite fancy and not as affordable as the food unfortunately. You don't get table service here, it's like a canteen where you queue, get your food straight away, and go sit down with it. This is good for if you go on your lunch break as it's really quick to get your food.
Excellent vegetarian lunch in London. The place is cozy and the cook is Italian. Simple yet tasty recipes! As an Italian, I recommend this place!

Great food and even better service! Love the staff, they are always in a great mood and manage to lighten up your day despite the weather. Great vegan and vegetarian options, home made, delicious! I bring my friends here all the time and recommend it to anyone.
The vegan food here is amazing. Really reasonably priced. The staff are lovely. It's perfect to take a little walk there during lunch if you work in the area, it's also worth a long walk if you live or work further out.
Such a great find near my new site office. They have all vegan and veg home cooking. Some really interesting combos and the chef is always ready to experiment. I go whenever I don't pack my lunch. Edit- lost a star. They are making too many vegan options that are not focused on whole foods but with things like refined filo that I can't eat. The whole food ones sell out then I can't eat. These days seems worth relying on other options than this cafe. Bummer, as I had been a fan. Would rather go hungry then eat overly refined cancer on a plate.
very good vegetarian dishes at very reasonable prices... amazing cakes... also very friendly staff... I used to have lunch here regularly... it had to close recently because the building is undergoing some major renovation... I hope they can open a new place soon
