Riding round wales and got a mechanical stopped at this independent bike shop for assistance as didn’t have right tools for the job and was helped out instantly and put back on the road. They tried not to charge me despite being so accommodating but of course I left a tip. Don’t abuse the service provided by shops like this as we need them to stay open for the expertise and experience those working in them have. We don’t want to be left with just the chain bike shops which don’t have the skills or time to offer the service shops like this offer. Please go for anything you need 5*
Excellent service, Tim was very helpful and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend
Great shop... excellent service on wheel building. Used the shops years ago moved back to the area and popped in for a wheel build on a nightmare set of bmx wheels. Turnaround was 2 days couldn't fault them... Will use them in the future
Customer service non existent. Dropped my bike off...my primary form of transport... as pre arranged on monday 4 a service and new tyre. Was told would b ready Wednesday...said could pick up Thursday morning on my way 2 work..My number was taken and was told would b given price for work needed. Heard nothing. Called 1st thing Thursday 2 find out bike had not been even looked at ...found him very rude.. just vented at me . Understand he is under a lot of pressure.... . Will never go 2 this shop again.
Extremely rude and unhelpful. Came here on the recommendation of a friend and left extremely disappointed. As it always seems in local bike shops had no greeting or welcome when walking inside to an empty shop just a man grunt over towards me, told him problem and needed my crank removed and again as typical with bike shops started talking in riddles about what needs doing and asking me if I had “tried this”. If I knew what needed doing and the tools required I wouldn’t be bringing my bike into a shop for someone else to fix and it amazes me some mechanics can’t work that out. Felt very anti-customer and just wanted to get me out of the shop as probably already had a back log of bikes to fix and didn’t need another. It’s a shame as had they just been a bit more welcoming and willing to look at my bike would’ve made a customer for life but now I’ll never use you again and tell others to stay clear. Customer service training wouldn’t go a miss if you’re looking for improvements.
Had a couple of little issues with my bike. Rang the store, very friendly service. Took the bike down later that day. After having it for one day they sorted it out for me and only charged £20. Very happy, planning on returning when I need to!
Absolutely faultless service and at a fantastic price. Yes, Tim can come across impatient but look past this as he knows how to put a bike right and is a lovely helpful chap. Sorted my son's cube stereo, new headset bearings, fitted new brakes, new dropper lever, new grips, indexed gears and sorted a catastrophic break in his fork legs with fox in risca, charge? - 60quid labour - what more can you say? Highly recommended.
Ordered a bike part, three weeks later I still haven't received the part nor any response to emails requesting why. Website is very outdated but it was the only place that had the part I required in stock - supposedly. Total con - be wary! Luckily this was only a low cost item and I should be able to claim back through Paypal.
After confirming via email that a product was available I placed an online order. A month passed and nothing. After several email attempts to find out where my order was, an apology and a promise for a prompt shipment. Another 2 months and several more unreturned emails, I gave up hope of ever getting what I ordered. I submitted a dispute via PayPal and again no response. I finally had to have PayPal issue a refund to me due to the fraudulent activity of this seller. WARNING, DO NOT BUY ONLINE FROM THIS SELLER. SCAM ALERT
Went there today with my twin boys aged 11 as they are mountain bike mad and want bikes very good ones! for christmas. The man who spoke to us was quite rude and said they don't do childrens bikes and was clearly not interested in me spending upwards of £1000 with them. So when my 2 are UK downhill champions they won't be shopping there!! mate you gotta look after them when they're young surely?... kids grow into adults. We're off to a different shop to spend our cash.
