Just back from a lovely Mon- Fri break. Camp site is very smart and clean. Well run and dog friendly. Price wise, we were very happy, at least £200 cheaper than other places we looked at. Caravan was very spacious and modern, not the usual run down van you usually get when you take your dog. Highly recommend the site and the area
Come here with my children, Mum and nephew a few girlfriends and their kid’s for a week away. It was lovely, the beach is beautiful. Dog friendly lodge so I was able to bring my husky and she loved it. Will look into booking again.
Lovely place, clean caravans, lots of entertainment, quite cheap. Food was OK but not full menu-was gutted couldn't have a Sunday roast even though its on the menu. Lovely staff though and atmosphere is great as entertainers engage children and adults alike. Well worth going and close to Dymchurch and the light railway.
Pod wasn't cleaned thoroughly before arrival as there was rubbish under the bed....toilet block was also not exactly clean with hardly any toilet paper but my biggest disappointment was with the clubhouse entertainment, everything was just gambling related and aimed at taking your money. I wanted live music or at least some kind of music not just sitting there for ages whilst someone tries to win 40 quid!.... The swimming pool has a stupid booking system so your kids will be disappointed...the pods are too far away from the complex...there's only 1 pool table which is always in use so why can't they put more in?... The pods could be made much better with a park in front of them for the kids, such easy wins to make the holiday more enjoyable and I may have returned but I won't be returning in it's current state.
Lodge was lovely with all amenities, as it rained it is Nov we couldn't take the dog to the bar. So can't really comment on facilities. However reception and maintenance staff were very efficient Definitely would return in warmer month
Absolutely amazing Pod... Girls in reception were really friendly and helpful. The lady in the shop was such a lovely lady and great to stop and have a chat to, it looked well stocked, clean and tidy. Only 1 issue was she hadn't been given any sandwiches to sell, which we think would sell brilliantly. But she seemed to stock everything else needed to make your own which is what we ended up having to do. And the pod... well.... the pod was AMAZING ! It was clean, tidy, peaceful, romantic and a beautiful view of the field. Highly recommended. Great for our first getaway for 3 years. Just remember to take a kettle we did and you'll be well away. All the other people we met while there were really friendly. We were tucked away from everyone else in the park and close to the shower and toilet block. JUST DO NOT EAT THE FOOD IN THE CLUBHOUSE !!!! We ordered two house burgers and some dirty fries, one shandy and one lemonade and lime at 5.50pm........ 7pm we went to ask where the food was, was told they were cooking it and It was 'literally 2 minutes from being ready'...... 7.20pm it arrives at our table.. only 4 other people in the clubhouse with food so not busy I wish they hadn't bothered. She apologised for it taking so long then walked away. Just under £40 for 2 burgers that was cooked from frozen in the oven actually made me feel sick water and grease taste, two slices of tomatoe on the bottom, cheap plastic cheese on the top and handful of cheap grainy cooked frozen chips. Oh and a small paper cup of coleslaw ! The 'dirty fries' were NOT dirty fries, they were cheap frozen chips in a bowl with one slice of dry bacon cup into three strips and grated cheese on top that had been melted in the microwave !! Oh and a spring onion thrown around on the fat of the cheese. It was actually disgusting. We were so tired with it being our first night there and travelling most of the day, this was going to be our first little treat to start our first little break in 3 years due to covid and working..... I cried and just wanted to leave ! It Was no good trying to find anyone to complain to as one lady was out having a ciggy/on her phone and the other had disappeared, and to be honest what was the point... an hour and a half waiting for your food which was awful your tired, upset and just want to leave and go back to your accommodation. Please don't waste your money in there, go into town and buy fresh fish and chips !! Or make sandwiches for the rest of your stay which is what we ended up doing. We did let reception know when we left and she already knew the wait was really bad and wasn't surprised of the complaint, but nothing she could do except pass on the feedback to the kitchen. The accommodation brilliant, Reception staff friendly, Shop great, Food... disgusting and should not be sold, such a big let down !! Will definitely be going back but will never eat there again.
Great holiday park and receptionist Karen was really lovley and helpful. The caravans were clean and tidy. However there were some words written on the walls but other than that great holiday. Definitely coming back for round 2
