Good sized store with lots of options.nnHad a bacon roll in the café today. I've attached the advertising picture and the half eaten reality. They're the same, unlike many well known junk food providers!
Cold in there, cross with the supervisor that would not give me the full price refund for a shirt which she said had been brought in the sale but it wasn't in a position to prove it, but my elderly patents definately paid £35 for it. I was the receipt later. Feel quite ripped off!
I visited the M&S Food Hall in Sevenoaks today and asked a male member of staff in the bakery a simple question about one of the breads. His response was unexpectedly rude — dismissive, abrupt, and frankly quite abrasive. It was a disappointing experience, especially from a store that usually prides itself on good customer service.
SHOCKING. NEVER visit this store!nnMy wife and I USED this store regularly using the M&S app to pay for items. We had previously spent many thousands of pounds here however just over a week ago we were stopped by a VERY accusing teen member of staff as we were due to leave who questioned our purchases that evening. In a somewhat surly manor he proceeded to ask to see our receipt and contents of our bag. After showing him with other members of staff looking on he grumbled under his voice “yeah, that’s fine” failing to offer any form of apology!!!! My wife and I were utterly stunned.nnI subsequently wrote to the store manager explaining what had happened along with the CEO. I failed to receive the courtesy of a response from either. As a consequence, from now on we will be shopping elsewhere as this kind of treatment directed towards regular, honest customers is wholly unacceptable.nnOn a separate note it seems somewhat fitting anyway as the quality and choice from M&S these days is definitely on the decline. The calibre of staff also falls far short of what you should expect, especially in this store.nnIf I could issue zero stars it would be what they are worth.nnIn future back to trusty F&M! Besides, their products are FAR tastier and the packaging is SO much better. M&S over rated, under delivering.
Great shop with really good range considering the size of the store although there seems to be a lot less for kids recently. The layout of the food section is a bit cramped, but again the range is fantastic
