I would be grateful if you could consider establishing a waiting area for individuals who are unsure of the activities of their female companions within the changing room. Your consideration in this matter would be greatly appreciated.nREQUEST FROM ALL MEN'S IN THE WORLD!!!!
I accidentally left my bag in the fitting room, and I’m so grateful for the help from the staff — it really meant a lot to me. All my important documents were in that bag, so as a foreigner, getting it back was a huge relief.nAnd Sara — she was incredibly empathetic. As soon as I walked in, she noticed how anxious I looked and immediately asked if everything was okay. I told her about the lost bag, and she kindly helped me search around the store until we found it.nBig thanks to all the staff — I really appreciate every bit of help I received!
We visited the M&S cafe in the Argyll St branch for lunch. To say we were frustrated by the system to pay for our food and drinks would be an understatement. Whoever devised the system currently in use needs to rethink it. We queued for 20 minutes holding our tray of sandwiches and cool drinks waiting to pay for them. Ahead of us in the queue were customers who wanted hot drinks. The drinks were made individually and then were served by the cashier. When we arrived at the cafe there were two tills open with large queues and after a while a third till was opened but the volume of customers arriving far exceeded the capacity. Eventually I was able to get to the head of the queue and pay for our items. I would like to make some suggestions. A system similar to that adopted by Dobbies would be far better for your customers where there is a place for the trays to slide along whilst in a queue. The hot drinks are prepared at a dedicated station and then taken to a staffed till to be paid for. Thus customers such as I who do not wish a hot drink do not have to wait an extraordinary time to pay especially if they are on a lunchbreak and have a restricted amount of time. I had a view of the tills whilst eating my food which was very nice and from the time we arrived to when we left the queues continued to be excessive.
Located at the eastern end of Argyle Street is this branch of Marks & Spencer, the ubiquitous high street store selling everything to everyone. The store has been here for decades. I remember the store as a child and it doesn't seem to have changed much in those decades, except that flares are no longer in fashion and no they're not sold here.nnThere's also a floor dedicated to home furnishing an decorations, which all together makes it a nice one stop shop for the whole family.nnDon't recall shopping here for cloths, as it's not my style anyway, but I've been here a few times for the food halls and the cafe. The latter is a bit rubbish. The food is better than at the local supermarkets and the cloths look okay if that's your style.
The store has a good location, large sales halls and a large selection of products for the family from food and clothing to flowers and home decor. My shopping experience has always been positive. The staff of the store is friendly and welcoming. I don't have a very high level of English, but the staff is patient with my attempts to ask questions and repeat the answer several times.nnIn particular, I want to note the security service workers who were on duty on February 22, 2025, between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. My ten-year-old son and I got lost in the store. I tried to look for it on my own, but it was not successful. In desperation, I went to the store guard. I had the worst 50 minutes of my life until I saw my child again.nnAll this time I was supported by the staff of the store, everyone was polite, reassured me and did all the necessary work on the search. My story has a happy ending and it's all thanks to the guys and girls who joined the search. Guys, I'm sorry I didn't ask your names, but you're cool and you're real professionals. I am infinitely grateful to you! If a person is reading this who can give extra money to the team - do it, they deserve it.nnBehind the impeccable reputation of good companies is always the daily hard work of team members. Thank you to everyone who creates impeccable service and customer support.nnThanks to everyone who helped me on February 22, 2025. Mark&Spencer your employees are cool!
