I went for a Bra fitting and was attended to by a lovely lady called Denise. Nothing was too much trouble and she spent as much time as was needed with me. At one point she even got a second opinion from another fitter which I thought was good as she didn't just try and fob me off with just anything. The service I received from her was excellent and I would highly recommend this service.
Visited the new cafe today. Not a good experience. Just wanted a coffee and teacake. I was shown how to operate the new ordering system. Got to the end and wanted to pay cash to be told it was card only. I like to pay small amounts by cash and so do many of my elderly friends. Won't be meeting there again.
Quick shopping trip for school uniform, as they had a huge range an most sizes. The clothes for adults an children was amazing with lots of sizing options. The food hall is large an a great variety of produce. Staff were friendly. There is a lot of parking space outside the shop, with disablied bays an parent bays. A cafe inside too.
Just been in the new cafe upstairs with my daughter and wish I hadn't bothered to be honest. No option to pay cash anymore, just these machines where you place your order. Sorry, but not everyone likes all this technology, and being forced to pay card. It certainly won't go down too well with elderly people. I suppose the downstairs cafe will be just the same, when it's done too. And Fay, who came over to help should try being a bit more understanding of other people, who don't like all this change. I will go elsewhere in future, where I can pay how I choose and be served by a person, rather than a machine.
Just wanted to leave a review as today I was helped by an absolute credit to this branch lady named Denise who went above and beyond to help me. She assisted with finding the item I wanted checking sizes online and then helped my in the cafe as I had my hands full. Just wow I hope M&S know how lucky they are to have Denise! Thankyou again
