The food in the cafe on the first floor surprisingly very good, good vegetarian sandwiches and really tasty soup
The M& S store in Barnstaple is very well frequented by N.Devon residents. It's clean well laid out, good sinage, the food hall is always packed the food is a bit more expensive than some places but is good quality. I like some of the clothes, mainly lingerie & night wear however not so fussed about their other types of clothing.
I was taking advantage of a new credit card offer. They're good, but there's definitely room for improvement!
On holiday for the christmas period. Came in to do my christmas shop on the 22nd and it was super busy with queues for all tills. However they had plenty of stock and all the staff were being super helpful during what I am sure must have been incredibly stressful. They were well stocked on all christmas produce and I found everything that I wanted.
They seem to have lost their way with regard to seniornmen's clothing, the nice Italian range trousers disappeared a couple of years ago the fundamental basics of what is required seemingly is either forgotten or they don't care, your pandering towards the younger element with your slim fit range ,obviously that seemingly is the the market your after, which is a shame, I always enjoyed shopping in m&s but after a serious perusal of your exeter branch sadly there's nothing suitable for an older person like me
