Large supermarket. Great selection of items. Bakery goods were not very fresh but the sourdough was lovely. Great chocolates and confectionery section perfect for gifts. Cafe on top floor is also nice but the food is a bit hit and miss the avocado and halloumi sandwich had ketchup on it which ruined it.
Online food shopping was spot on. Collection was straightforward and customer service staff knew what they were doing and friendly with greetings. Quality of food and variety were excellent
First visit to M&S Stane Park. Feeling peckish we headed for the cafe upstairs. We quickly realised that we had to order on a screen think McDs. I felt under pressure to place our order quickly because a queue was forming behind us. We opted for sandwiches, crisps and a coffee. Searching through the extensive side bar would have taken us far too long. Order placed we found a table. Unfortunately it was still dirty with the remnants left behind from the previous diners, as were the other free tables.nWe were served our boxed sandwiches promptly. Then we waited, and waited and waited some more. Husband had eaten his sarnie, I had saved half of mine to have with my crisps and, by now, much longed for coffee. I approached the desk and was told our order was just there and wouldn’t be long. Eventually we received the remainder of our order albeit the hot drinks were lukewarm.nOur experience from start to finish was not satisfactory. We won’t be visiting again.nnOn the other hand, the clothes departments and food hall were immaculate. We were like kids in a candy store looking at the variety of wares on offer. Staff at the checkouts were very helpful and kept things running smoothly. We were pleased with our selection of cheeses and felt at one with the world again. It’s the little things that count. Will definitely be returning to this section of M&S.
Well the actual store is good and had everything I wanted with polite helpful staff. The car park however is another ballgame!! Always busy at the weekend and gridlocked so to be avoided. Best thing to do is park at Sainsburys and walk across the road
I was extremely pleasantly surprised at the quality and cost of the wide variety of products. A lot of the items were CHEAPER than Tesco! Fabulous. Will be shopping here again and recommend it.
