Thank you for sorting out my mums medicines for her 4 week holiday away. Really helpful and great service. We have been with them for over 10 years, always great.

My husband came in here on Sunday after my recommendation for an open chemist for a rash cream that was recommended by our Dr for him to use which is available at all pharmacies over the counter without prescription but this pharmacist decided he's a full blown GP and instead of giving my husband the cream he decided to question our own Dr's advice infront of a chemist full of strangers after being asked if they can use a private room and being told NO with a very angry tone and infront of my 14 year old daughter by demanding my husband tell him what the cream was for and why he needed it making my husband embarrass himself by having to announce to the entire chemist what it was for! This caused him to have serious anxiety and start to panic! Unacceptable behaviour from a so called professional  he's a pharmacist not a GP! I will not ever recommend this place to anyone in Darwen or Blackburn unless they want to be shown up infront of half the town! I have told our GP of this man questioning his advice to my husband and I have also reported the pharmacist to the relevant department of NHS health services. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS PHARMACY PLEASE USE A DIFFERENT ONE LIKE BOOTS OR GALOO BROTHERS where you WILL receive professional help and care In PRIVATE

I have a few medication that is due within days of each other and waited to collect them at the same time. The bloke who deals with the prescriptions was rude and told me I should collect them separately or organised them with the gp to be issued at the same time. I have spoken to the gp surgery who advised I couldn't do that at the moment but this bloke continued to humility me in front of other customers and speak to me abruptly. I will be changing chemists

Meds always ready for collection, nice friendly staff. Used market St for years and would recommend them.

If I could give it no stars I would. Shocking and unprofessional staff. I rang them up tonight to ask if my prescription was ready and asked if I’d been prescribed my preferred brand. I was told no. They don’t and can’t do that. Walked in to collect my item that i did require to them all slagging me off and having a good giggle. Appalling staff

My GP missed processing my repeat prescription leaving me without medication.  The pharmacist at Market St was most helpful and advised how I could get an emergency prescription so I'm not without meds over the weekend.  I highly recommend this Chemist. Their opening hours are goog too.

Went in today to get an emergency prescription.  Pharmacist couldn’t have been more arrogant and unhelpful if he tried.  In hindsight I should have told him to change his career into something less public facing.  I was treated with absolute contempt and won’t be returning... ever.  Went to Boots and they went out of their way to help me.  Avoid!

I've never had any problem with this pharmacy but can only give it 3 stars on this occasion.  I have been visiting here to collect perscriptions for various people over the pandemic, and on at least 4 probably closer to 10 occasions the same  young girl who is handing over the perscriptions is never wearing her Covid face covering correctly.  It is not there to keep your chin warm!!.  Get it over your mouth AND nose.  Very unprofessional for somebody in a healthcare setting.

This pharmacy manages my fathers prescription and has done so for the previous 6 years. Each month he receives his medication on time without any flaws or concerns. However unfortunately the same cannot be said about there staff who stand at the counter. On the odd occasion when i require co-codamol to help with cold like symptoms im made to feel like a criminal. My advice would be to employ more like those working in the back and use this pandemic as an excuse to make others redundant
