As a kosher traveler visiting Scotland from the USA, I've found Mark's Deli to be an incredible source of nutritious, fresh, and healthy meals. The food here has been excellent, and my daughter particularly loves the sweet and sour chicken. The care and effort put into wrapping everything neatly and clearly labeling the dishes with instructions are greatly appreciated. Mark's Deli is easy to deal with, reasonably priced, and very communicative. This is a fantastic service for visitors, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting.
Thanks to Mark’s for my Jewish Penicillin during my recent Covid time. Mark’s went above and beyond to coordinate with a New York based pal of mine who wanted me to taste something both authentic and healing! Top job!!
A family member living in Giffnock was so ill that they couldn’t eat and I knew that the answer was good chicken soup. I’m miles away or I’d make it myself but very fortunately Mark’s Deli is close by and they deliver I spoke to a very nice and helpful person about options- sizes, fresh, frozen etc and some was delivered the next day. It was the first thing they could eat and they loved it - I wasn’t there but I know it will have done her the power of good because not only did it taste great but it was truly comforting - soul food. Lovely people to shop with. I live in London and nothing is too much trouble for them whether it's helping me out with orders taken over the phone from me to deliver to my parents who are in Glasgow - or sending haggis down to me in London! Great service, tasty food.
A hidden little gem. Food is amazing from homemade soup, potato lakies, cream cheese to the salted beef wow! Just love everything about this place the food is to die for! Never had any bad experiences here. Owner & staff are very friendly everything is nicely displayed. It is slightly more expensive but to me, the quality is worth it. I will be in very soon to stock up in soup and various other food items. Highly recommend this place trust me your taste buds will agree too.
Amazing bagels! Mark was a very pleasant chap as well! Hard to find Jewish foods in Scotland, and glad this supplier of them is such a great one!!
Absolutely fantastic. Staff are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. The food is high quality and affordable. I highly recommend a hot salt beef sandwich or the "Jewish penicillin" chicken soup.
