Second time I've popped in to Maritimo, first was dinner with a group of friends and today was for some lunch with my wife. Both times have been lovely, the tapas is delicious and the views are amazing over the sound when the weather's good too. Staff were friendly and attentive and I'll be back again soon!
Went today for lunch with my friend first time for me and it certainly won't be the last. We enjoyed a selection of dishes that were cooked perfectly the service was fabulous and of course the view. Thankyou will see you again soon my new favourite place.
Amazing food with a great view out in to the water, and both indoor and outdoor terrace seating. The staff were very polite, patient and accomidating to our parties needs and dietary requirements. I recommend booking in advance by giving them a call if you have a table of more than 2, aswell as if you want to sit outside.
Went there over the Christmas with our son from LA. 5 of us. Was pleasantly surprised. Lovely food, lovely staff, great atmosphere. Fair priced. Will definitely go back. Strongly recommend it to others Vegetarian options: And vegan
Love this place. Far more filling that you would realise but can't help but eat it all no matter how full you feel as it's so delicious. 241 cocktails during the week. Gorgeous views out over Plymouth sound whatever the weather is doing. Good value for money, great chilled atmosphere. Vegetarian options: Several veggies options available and clearly marked Dietary restrictions: Veggie, vegan and gluten free options clearly marked
Five of us shared several tapas dishes and we all enjoyed them. I particularly enjoyed the calamari. The churros was a little heavy and gooey for my liking. I would eat there again.
Enjoyed the staff and the tapas were excellent.
Location location location. Sadly the food was mediocre and not a good reflection of the culinary wealth which Spain has to offer. The menu was reduced due to Covid but that is no excuse for albondigas which could have been used as cannonballs or garlic prawns marinating in chunks of raw garlic, or indeed stodgy croquettes. Staff were lovely however and we felt very safe and welcome.
What a lovely place! We were there at a very quiet time, so don't know what service is like on a busy night, but for us it was certainly perfect for us! The views are awesome and the food is even better 3 dishes each provided us with a generous lunch, including a bit odd dessert, as the fig and ghost cheese packed were more sweet than savory. All six dishes were absolutely delicious, but the absolute best bits were the chorizo and the prawns. Very highly recommend this place for food, service and location.
All too often places like this with awesome views don’t have food and service to match. Not this one, excellent food, reasonably priced and great service. Very impressed. Will be one of our go to Plymouth eateries. Well done Maritimo!
