This would be nice if it was updated and aimed at all ages for accessibility. Cross the road and you are on the beach at lovely aldwick beach cafe etc al.  How can a public space be controlled and restricted - it is by having a pay to play pitch and putt, disallowing bicycles (!?) Thus reasonable enjoyment is restricted by the right to walk /ride across (public-!?) lawns. The oversized planting known to increase danger of access at night. Instead of being epic, it is just...dull when it could be awsome. A greatly underused/ wasted piece of real estate due to pitch and putt and overshadowed with retirement properties. You might have a picnic there, but no scooting, skating or cycling !!!!
