Greeted very warmly, owners very helpful, evening meal was excellent, if you were hungry after breakfast it would be your own fault. Would definitely stay there again.

It was ok nice atmosphere good hearty breakfast. Perhaps could do with a bit of updating. Parking could be difficult in busy times.

Fabulous location, opposite the castle and very close to the sea front. Rooms very spacious and comfortable with all the usual amenities. Well stocked tea and coffee in the rooms. The owners are wonderful, friendly and helpful. More like a b&b than a hotel - and that's a good thing. Great value recommended.

This is much more like a 3 star hotel. An honesty and eccentricity about the place and the charming owners are beautiful down to earth people. Breakfast was very good. Dinner available. On street parking, across the road. Peaceful, relaxed environment. Clean, well managed, great service, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, good shower, wifi, TV, telephone, hairdryer, kettle etc. Good views of castle and sea depending on room. Dogs allowed :-) good beach for walkies, woof woof !!! Very pleasant stay. Thank you.

On there website it says dog friendly but we couldn't bring my dog down to breakfast so we had to go in 2's or 3's so we couldn't eat breakfast as a family. It is not a dog friendly area either. The staff didn't seem happy and that's not what you would want to see when you walk into the hotel. And you feel like you canto ask them a question because you get an bad look. But the breakfast was good. I will only rate this 2 stars.
