Service needs to be improved. I suffer with food allergies and always like to check before going somewhere whether it is safe to eat there. Marigolds never answer the phone and have on occasioned screened my call. If you’re a food/drinks provider you should have measures in place to ensure your customers feel safe eating here such as answering the phone for queries, having a list of allergens that are kept updated online etc. I hear good reviews about here and have wanted to try it for so long and am willing to travel however can never get in touch.
Bought 2 portions of chips this afternoon. Not fresh, they were dry, and unpleasant. I have had chips from Marigold's before, but these tasted like they'd been cooked more than once. I'll think twice before going there again.nnYou commented on my post, didn't sound too bothered to me. You could offer recompense for poor food. Obviously £ more important than customer satisfaction.
Ordered gluten free fish and chips. Yes they done it for us but we only could eat the chips. The fish was very smelly and tasted funky plus had bones in it.
I think, this is the best fish and chips I've ever had, since in the UK for 3 months. Because the Fish is not just salty, but also milky. So, it does not depend on the flour, but the fish itself is tasty. Plus, the hot curry is crazy delicious. A European and Indian blend, it perfectly works! They made it with heart.nnHere, you have to do the take away, they don't provide dine in seats. But, that's not a big deal, once u step out of the store, there're some seats that help you eat fish and chips while getting wondered by the old town of West Kirby in front of you. Mesmerizing.
We always come here when we visit the area. Was told there was a wait today, happy to wait for fresh food! Everything was hot, tasted great and its reasonably priced.
