I think this place is great. especially for 'non-chinese food' as it is generally prepared fresh (because they don't do as much of it. fish and chips here has always been cracking. I prefer it to marigolds (overpriced and smaller portions as well)

Grim. I've had chips from here several times and they were previously good. Tonight I thought I'd have fish and chips - the marigold had closed already. Chips to be fair were fine, not great but ok. fish was vile, seriously vile. Didn't taste of fish or batter just of reheated Chinese food. Utterly put me off. Definitely could do better!
