Such a little gem of a place, always walked past but never went in until today. The lady who served us was really lovely and recommended the spicy chicken toasted sandwich and it was so good! Have outdoor seating too which is always a plusFood: 5/5
Nice venue good food. They ran out of sausage for the breakfast,but replaced with extra bacon without letting us know until it arrived. No drama just a little disappointed.
Don’t even waste your money / time. I walked out with no food, and we weren’t the only ones!! Another couple waited over 1 hour and left. Waiting over 40 mins for food that I still didn’t get because they didn’t have the ingredients to make a sandwich. Appalling customer service, firstly no tuna ok fine, I ordered a ham sandwich they told me on giving my partner his breakfast 40 mins later that they had no ham. Which I asked them “why not get some from Waitrose across the road” Partners breakfast ok - but where’s the mushrooms / toms ?? Haha! Best thing, we were only 1 of two couples in the cafe!!! How does it take this long ???? Wasted 40 mins of my day waiting for nothing. Went to KFC! Left with a part refund which I had to calculate!! Shambles - avoid. The business needs serious help before it closes very soon.
Appaling. Waited 45 minutes for a reheated burnt sausage and greasy egg dripping in oil to arrive. Very unsatisfied as people after us had been served their meals before us. Another customer got up and left after waiting so long.. one star is for the refund.
Visiting family in Leeds. 1st time trying here .was well impressed. Food was lovely great range on menu.very reasonably priced. Service was great even tho they were really busy.missed out an item I ordered but nothing to concern about.give us free caramel square to taste .free they were to die for .will return again
Really sweet spot with good veggie options! The food was all made to order, which means it was a longer wait time, but the food was very fresh and delicious! I would say don’t come here if you’re looking for a fast food option, but if you want to enjoy a long brunch with friends/family, it’s the place to be in Meanwood. And Maria was super friendly.
Went for a poached egg with avocado on toast with sourdough. All in all not bad. However, the egg was too well done and felt more like hard boiled, even the white. Not very moist all around. Price wise I can't complain as I hail from Bristol and id pay more like 13 for the same type of meal. The coffee was nice. Service was pleasant too. One 'but' though. I went to the bathroom to find myself in awkward situation of not finding a sanitary bin anywhere. I'd appreciate one put in.

I went here for brunch as a cheer-me-up after seeing it on my walks around the shops. They were so friendly and attentative and made a mix-match of their breakfasts for me. The sourdough was lovely, the poached eggs were spot on and the cherry tomatoes were divine! There was a lovely chilled out atmosphere and I sat curled up at the window seat under one of their blankets and felt much better! Will 100% be back! Probably for their soups with toasty because they sound lovely!
One of the worst experiences I’ve had. Ordered a full English and at the time there was only 4 other people in. The wait for the food was ridiculous despite the place not even being busy. The toast came out by itself and I waited 20 minutes for the rest of the food to come by which time my toast was fully cold. When the breakfast finally came I asked for some fresh toast which they did but there was no sausages on the plate. The guy serving said they were coming. I started to eat and waited 10 more minutes and still no sign. I ended up finishing my food because it would have gone cold again. For a meal I paid £8.90 I wasn’t impressed. Surely it would be normal to wait for everything to be ready then plate it up together and serve at once? Overall really unimpressed. The guy serving was polite and I understand this was not his fault but won’t be returning again after what I thought would be a simple order.
