Notwhat it used to be...not much in stock and staff don't really have a clue as they have no knowledge or experience

Good choice of electrical and electronic items. Lots of friendly staff offering help. Nearly always find what I'm after. Just a bit more expensive than buying online however.

Very helpful and polite staff who are always chatty. Sadly Maplin's range of quality goods, or even stocked products, has diminished over the years (in favour of online only stock), and parts are generally cheaper elsewhere if ordering online.
