Extremely rude. Popped into the Bradford store last week to purchase a 3 way arial connector as I approached the till to ask for advice the guy on the till was on his phone he didn't even look up to me or speak to me he just walked off to where they where and said there they are, so rude I will not be going there again it costs nothing to have good manners
Has basically become what Tandy was in the 90's, and that's not a bad thing. Caters well for the electronic hobbyist with individual electronic components, full electronic project kits and tools right up to gadgets and gizmos. Staff can be friendly but quite a few have limited knowledge of products.

Meh... It's maplins. OK if you can't be bothered to wait for something online, but about 3 times as expensive as anywhere else. Maplins have lost their way a bit in recent years, too many "plastic toys" rather than tech and components. OK at a push.
Used to use maplins all the time in 80,s and 90's but boy they are expensive. I would wait a day and pick up my products online and pay upto 75% less
Most of things in-store are overpriced. Staff are very slow, I was waiting at a desk for one of them to come over and help with a query, the staff looked at me but wouldn't come to help. Not going to shop here again.
Helpful staff advised me on the product I needed and didn't event recommend the more expensive one saving me money
Pretty good all the wires and connection adaptors wide range of products security lighting cameras
Good electronic shop with useful products and helpful staff. Bit overpriced thought.
