This store is fantastic! All of the staff are friendly, professional, and committed to delivering a retail experience second to none. They are a credit to Lee and Matt. It has been very tough for retail businesses in the UK, even for bigger companies like Curries. However, the staff still smile, still laugh, and continue to provide consumer excellence consistently. Nothing is too much trouble. I now use curry's for my company purchases, too. Before buying online, check this store out. I don't believe you will be disappointed.
26/12 purchased oven, paid for installation. Item delivered today but not installed as paid for. Left the delivery people for a moment to take a call and they assure us it was installed. Opening the oven the oven shakes and shunts forward. Located the screws that were supposed secure the oven on the top of my kitchen unit. Customer services online and an international call centre reading script not understanding the problem. Told to go back to the store and try claim a refund?! Poor service. Ensure your staff do the job and put your stores contact details on the receipt as the international call centres are scripted not to care!
Went into store and ordered item. I was told I would be phoned when the product can be collected. Did not hear from the store for 7 days. In that 7 day period I had tried to contact the store numerous times via the customer service team to check on whether the item could be collected, but the store would never answer the phone. Was finally contacted by the store on the seventh day after raising a complaint about there being no updates, and not being able to contact the store. Went to collect the item when I was told the item could be collected, to only be told the item has been just delivered and is stuck on a pallet and would need to come back in two days. After two visits to the store, numerous phone calls, and a 7 day wait, I was left with no option but to cancel the order. Do not waste your time going into this store.
I attended this store on News Year Eve in a panic as I had done something with my mobile phone which I was unable to disable. I walked into the store an approached "Sam" with regards to the problem. He sorted the problem for me in a matter of minutes. I have spent hours trying to sort it. He was very pleasant and helpful. I always use this store and have always been served by very helpful staff.
Very poor customer service from Aqib I believe that was his name after coming in wanting to purchase a laptop. I enquired about purchasing one and he didn’t clearly want to talk, insisting the laptop was out of stock without even checking. Told me to go online and pay £10 more for next day delivery if I wanted it. As I got to my car I did go online to buy as needed this laptop only to discover it was in stock! A very lovely woman Rizwana checked for me and they had 2 in stock! It took less than 5 minutes from talking to her to having purchased the laptop and she was brilliant. In short Aqib 1*, Rizwana 5* could have all been fine if he could be bothered to check stock but he clearly didn’t want to talk to me
Management disgusting! Went to pay off my payment plan and was told to ‘go do it at home’ as it wasn’t their job by the Manager at the time Nadeem. As if it’s not their job to help customers who can’t pay online or over phone. Felt like never purchasing something from their again after that so called ‘management’. Lady at the till Rizwana was a huge help tho! Told us how to pay over the phone step by step and has always been helpful every time we’ve visited! Staff better than the management lol
Not at all happy with staff I was after a 55cm freestanding gas cooker I had seen on line. in store I asked a member of staff about this he didn't even stop just carried on walking past me and said we don't do them. so they lost out on over 900 pounds
Emotional Support Animal friendly. Sales staff in this store got it right but other places we have felt pressured or hassled. Here they smiled and nodded said hi as a welcome and then left us alone until we approached them. Sales staff were kind, patient and seemed to enjoy anwering repeated questions, very reassuring.I will be fetching anxious clients to challenge shopping issues here in future. Thanks staff I hope the boss puts some fancy biscuits in the staff room for you
The store was clean and tidy and had what I went in for. I didn't appreciate being jumped on by 4 different sales people, 2 of whom didn't seem to understand me telling them I was fine and didn't need any help.
