Really wonderful, friendly staff. The menu even just before closing when we came in was full of yummy options, fresh and tasty.  I had the Italian Chicken and Green Pesto sandwich on a long bun - it was wonderfully flavourful!  Can't wait to go again. Happy we stopped in!

Great sandwich and cakes!  Chicken salad with stuffing and egg on a brown barm  Oreo Rocky Road Slab!   Just shy of £10 with a can.  Great as a treat!

Dropped in after Passport Office appointment as only a few mins walk away. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Had two great cooked breakfasts and they make a lovely cup of tea! Great value and service. Definitely recommend.

Every time I've been here the food has been great, as has the service. The prices are average for the location, but actually really affordable when compared with the exceptional quality of food served and the friendly atmosphere. In addition, this is a locally-run business - I'd always prefer to spend my money here, instead of at one of the over-priced chains nearby.

I just feel its seriously overpriced when it comes to toast and a latte. All I ordered was 2 thick toast and a large latte with syrup and it came to £6.25. I'm was just shocked at the price to be honest; it's as if one slice of toast is the price of a whole loaf and it's not even butter it's margarine, the latte wasn't very good this time either, in the past it's been fine, but today it was too weak. I doubt I'll be back for any sort of breakfast again; shame about the prices as the staff are lovely people.

I bought the premium sausage batch and a large filter coffee. Unfortunately the sausages weren't premium they were just bigger cheap sausages and the coffee wasn't hot. Please buy a decent coffee machine. And decent sausages, even if you need to charge us a bit more.

Me and a friend bought our dinner from here the other day and have are currently still unwell with food poisoning. The chicken must have been undercooked for us to be as sick as we are and I have had to take unpaid time off work while I recover. Will not be going here again had to give 1 star to be able to post this  **I’m just going to edit this in post in response to the owner’s reply.  The food poisoning has definitely came from here. I have been the GP who has confirmed food poisoning and my friend got the exact same meal and is in the exact same state as I am so I highly doubt we both have just happened to get food poisoning at the same time from something several weeks ago. I did not make contact on the day as the symptoms began in the evening when the cafe was shut and I did not want to kick up a fuss as I’d hope that I would recover quickly.  I have been prompted to make this review today as I am now having time off work due to being so unwell. The response is quite concerning as it implies that this will not be investigated for safer working practises to be put in place to prevent this from happening in the future.

Myself and my colleague came up from Northampton where we work to do a delivery at the passport place around the corner, when it was our turn to be served the lovely ladies who prepared our food were very friendly and made us feel very welcome and gave us a magnificent compliment which we've taken and we left very happily, it makes us feel there should be more places like this with lovely and friendly people.

Lovely staff. Freshly cooked poached eggs and good coffee. Good value for money.Food: 4/5
