My car broke down on the side of the motorway and I was on my own and don't know the area at all. I just want to thank Martyn, Mike and Holly at Manchetts for looking after me and making sure I got to my auntie's house an hour away safely. Mike got to my car really quickly and made sure I was safe. He ran some diagnostics and unfortunately the car could not be repaired at the roadside, however he stayed with me even after his shift was finished to make sure I wasn't on my own at the side of the road while the recovery vehicle came. I spoke to Holly on the phone and she was really kind and lovely, and also made sure help came quickly I know I sounded very stressed! Martyn arrived very quickly to recover my vehicle and drove me to my auntie's an hour away, even though he had already finished his shift for the day. I really cannot thank you enough for your amazing service, going above and beyond to make me feel safe in what can be a dangerous situation and also for your kindness. You made a stressful situation a lot better and I really appreciate it.Service: Auto engine diagnostic
Overcharged the MOT services quote. Took it to a different garage which costed 70% less
Always use them for our Renaults when we can - absolutely fantastic job in sourcing and replacing our windscreen within 36 hours. This is having to wait for 3 + weeks for Autoglass NOT to be able to source, never mind book the car in for it to be replaced!Service: General repairs & maintenance

When they say it's a free retest I wouldn't believe them, prices are outrageous. I have given them the benefit of the doubt and used them lately bit being screwed over 4 times in the last half a year is beyond a joke now. Wouldn't send my worst enemy here.
Had a broken rear seat in my car and wanted someone to have a look at it... Called this afternoon and was able to pop in after work, I arrived around 4:20pm and I'm out again by 4:50pm! All the staff were really friendly and helpful, and they fixed it there and then, free of charge! Very impressed with the service. I'm new to the area, so it's great to know there's a reliable garage nearby to go to. Many thanks!

Outstanding customer service!!! Our son, his girlfriend and our 5 month old Grandson were stranded at the services on the m11 after hitting a pot hole late at night. Paul was so helpful and honest with waiting times etc....can't fault him at all. Thoroughly recommend Manchetts for recovery. We will definitely come back to you again should the need ever arise
