The building doesn’t accommodate for any body like they say they would, they just want your money. No air con in building, the building smells of Fish all the time, they don’t bother to call there engineers/handy man to fix any issues, but still expect you to pay the rent which they increase every few months without telling you! So many people like myself have been stuck in a contract with them currently, it’s shocking.
Used for a wedding. No issues with the place itself. Everything was organised so no dramas. Small waiting room for bride, plenty of mirrors and space to make last minute adjutments. Guests can utilise a large waiting room, ample space for a party of 20 plus people then transferred to the marriage chapel room. Both rooms were tastefully, Nicely decorated. The staff that dealt with us on our day were very accommodating, informative and professional. The only things that let the whole occasion down was the parking issue, lack of parking on the street means there is a walk involved, also no place within the premises to have photo's afterwards but luckily there is an alternative venue which is a short walk to the town hall square for photo's. Overall a very pleasant, experience which everyone seemed to enjoy.
Absolutely impossible to speak to a human being, tryed emailing and no reply. Trying to get a copy of my birth certificate but online it does not say my hospital of birth in the drop down box so have no idea how to go forward
Was late to an appointment to give a notice of intention to marry, that I acknowledge but the lady working at the desk could not have been more happier at our embarrassment or less helpful. She seemed to take pleasure, with a big wry smile, to tell us we were late and was not prepared to help. Absolutely unprofessional behaviour and would expect better from Council staff.
My partner and I are having a humanist ceremony next month so needed to pop to the registry office for the legal bit. Everyone we dealt with was really friendly and made our day special. It got us really excited for next month. Our marriage certificate was posted out to us the next day. I have been told from friends that have been married that they have waited up to six weeks to get their certificate from other registry offices in in the country!
Our wedding took place two days ago in the Pankhurst Suite and it couldn't have been better, staff was lovely and we will remember forever that day!
Easy to find, quick walk from Piccadilly Gardens. Not a lot of parking close by I don't think. Made an appointment online, was seen dead on time and was out in 15 minutes. Friendly staff and nice building. I do all my registration here
Does anyone work here ? Trying to call no answer all day . Trying to email no reply for over a week. No use to public
Absolutely great team. We were recently married here, the ceremony itself ran so smoothly and the staff were all so lovely and put us totally at ease. The booking process and run up was really easy, I can’t use my phone during the day due to my work but was able to communicate well via email, I always got a reply within a day or so.
I have been trying since 23rd August to obtain my fathers death certificate. I have emailed the office twice now and all I get is a big standard email referring me to the website BUT the only provision is to purchase copy certificates. You cannot speak to anyone and the information provided is utterly useless.
