Beautiful, wholesome Christmas markets! Countless stalls to explore selling great food and gifts! I recommend trying the Korean corn dog.
Food from all over the world, handmade gifts and a festive vibe This year’s Christmas market spreads from Kings Street and weaves through St.Anns square past Zara around to in front of Selfridges, up market street and to Piccadilly Gardens. It’s a fair walk but perfect for grabbing food and walking the calories off. There are food vendors in many different locations so get ready to walk! There are a number of halal options, Yard and Coop on St.Anns square, Piccadilly Gardens: Triple B’s, Pound Coin Bread, Amsterdam Loaded Fries as well as many vegetarian options! Desserts from Flat Baker in Piccadilly Gardens, Dutch Mini Pancakes near Selfridges, hot macaroons on Market Street. There is a great variety of food, I love the Christmas market but definitely avoid the weekend it gets really busy
Had a great time looking around the Christmas markets on their first night of opening. Lots of great products to see and buy. We enjoyed sampling the cakes and drinks which we did buy some. I was surprised to see that the people came out on such a horrible wet day. The atmosphere was friendly and happy people all around us. Amazing. I Wish the stall holders all the very best. I recommend that you have a pint or 2 in the German bar too.
The Manchester Christmas Market is an annual festive event held in Manchester, England, typically from November to December. The Manchester Christmas Market is a beloved tradition that attracts locals and tourists alike. It's a fantastic place to get into the holiday spirit, enjoy seasonal treats, and find unique gifts while experiencing the festive ambiance of Manchester during the Christmas season.
They are back this year at Piccadilly Gardens. Vibrant atmosphere, definitely bring some Christmas cheer. Tried the roasted pork buns with free flow apple sauce, not too impressed. Mr Crumble crumble was good, though would have preferred more crumble and less custard sauce.
Just took 50 minutes on train from halifax train station to Manchester Victoria Station Visited here today Manchester Christmas markets paid £7 for German bratwurst & £8.50 for a mulled wine highly recommended.Visited here here again on 24th November 2023 paid £8 for bratwurst & £16 for 2 hot chocolate £10 for 2 chocolate buns enjoy this time round.
Manchester Christmas Market is not closed but there seems nothing to promote this place with lovely festive atmosphere. One of booths catching my attention sells French dry lavender, soaps and essential oils. It makes me feel being in Europe.
Food wasn’t that amazing and overpriced. Too crowded, maybe in hindsight we should have gone at the weekend.
If you live anywhere nere to Manchester or not get the train to Manchester or drive you won't regret it. Where do I start, umm Bratwurst hotdogs, Chinese food, famous Yorkshire pudding wrap, the best Dutch pancakes you'll ever eat, apply and rhubarb crumble with custard and about another 200 amazing stoles inbetween I would say it would take a full weekend to properly cover and enjoy the whole market. Ow and don't forget your Mulled wine and Christmas mug 2023. Ps it's not temporarily close its open until 8pm for the less busy stoles 9pm for the more popular ones.
If u like them the it's just the place however nothing Christmas about it , just an excuse to set up food stores and pubs in the street
