Until meeting Nick I gave it a 5 star rating but being berated and followed around 15 minutes before closing whilst loading out so we could be out for closing has ruined the place for me and to be honest the whole feel of the place has changed in recent months so I won't be returning until I collect my equipment. Cheers for ruining a good thing
Staff are really helpful, they offer good deals on days to suit me and my band, and the rooms are always cleaned and tidy.
Proper grass roots practice space. Really friendly staff. Great decoration. Tuckshop. Some of the equipment a bit old but all works and well maintained. Onsite amp repair. Rooms always clean and tidy with gear ready. Parking can be a bit tight on busy days. Altogether well worth the price!
Absolutely superb place. Full of atmosphere. Great friendly staff. And you can't beat the convenience of having gear ready & set up. Leaves you with a bit of spare time to buy and enjoy a beer from the mini shop inside between sets : Been in bands for over twenty years and this place has been the best rehearsal rooms I visited by far. Very highly recommended.
It doesn't look like much. And certainly doesn't look secure. However, the team at the bones rooms have done a more than phenomenal job with security. The entire team are brilliant. They treat you like mates and chat to you. As you how your musical journey is going and show a genuine interest in what you do and love. These guys are the real deal when it comes to anything musical. They'll pass on their knowledge to help you with equipment maintenance. All around top blokes and a great little community sense for a practice room.
Amazing history and a brilliant venue for the north west music scene a safe place to practice for bands
This place is honestly great. The building from the outside looks old and run down but on the inside the artistic look of the place is something I can only describe as the Mighty Boosh but splurged all over the walls. The staff are really friendly and we talk to them everytime we go there. The practice rooms are of decent quality with a different theme in each one.
Love this place practise there with two bands and just a great experience atmosphere is great rooms are great can make a brew chill out there and best of all it's a reasonable price. It takes me 45 minutes to walk there from the other side of town but it's damn worth it.... Staff are really friendly too and actually care about the guys in the room and are quite familiar with the regulars Great place
This is the best place you can choose to stop when you are on tour to take a few hours of practice and have a good time. The equipment is really good, the price is low, the place is AMAZING, they have a chill out saloon really beautiful..... very very beautiful, the owner is pure love and you will feel as at home. We are a spaniard band on tour and we have just rent a fully equipped room. We will do it again next year on next tour.
It has its charm, quite informal hippy types run this place but you’re in danger of being mugged or worse in the locality it’s situated. Parking isn’t great in peak times but it’s open most of the day, you don’t have to go in the evening. Seems like there’s a handy shop inside the place selling brews and stuff, a pity this place is where it is but hey.
