Not as it used to be, stodgey and lacking. The katsu chicken itself was excellent the noodles not so much but everything needs a bit of vegetable with it. Bao and steamed bun were very disappointing, the bao was only a bit of beef flank no veg or chili sambal, and the bun was dense and lacking moisture/sauce
Bento box looks the part but let down by flavour of chicken which falls short of the typical Japanese version of this dish. Spring rolls were tasty though. Mediocre service lacking a little warmth.
Nice food, the steamed buns and beef teriyaki skewers good. A little pricy and no table service.
The chicken noodle soup was adorably good,so were the edimame .The waitresses are very kind, welcoming.
Two visits in the last fortnight. Both times excellent. Will definitely be going again.
I ordered via deliver and was pleasantly surprised! Having never eaten here before I picked it as I really fancied noodles! Their beef ho fun was great, although could have used a small splash of soy - thankfully I had some dumpling sauce from the pork potstickers. My husband had the prawn sweet and sour with fried rice. We'll come in and have dinner in the restaurant next time! :
The food was tasty but overpriced. Burgers are everywhere in Glasgow so to charge 12 for a plain burger then 1.50 for toppings is a bit of a rip, it comes with plenty of chips which are cheap anyway. I had the fish and chips with homemade tartar sauce and mint peas which was all good. Visited on a Sunday with a performer on. He was good but it was so loud I literally shouted to be heard across the table. I felt the service was slow given the number of people eating. Sorry for such negativity but I had high hopes and left slightly disappointed. The place has nice decor and the staff were friendly.
What a nightmarish dinner experience. A very loud, rude party of about fifteen people, ten of which were under five years, were running about unchecked. Stabbing the walls with forks, fighting, shouting, all while the parents chatted and sang. Our booking was at half past seven. We asked to be moved, but it was still too noisy to talk. The children were running around the entire restaurant and the staff did nothing about it. The food was good but overpriced. Toilets and entire restaurant was filthy. Never going back.
Superb Chinese restaurant in the centre of Glasgow. Excellent food, freshly cooked. Prompt service. Authentic decor. Monday to Friday lunch menu is a great deal but knocked a star off as there are no weekend deals so it is quite expensive at the weekends and hence much quieter.
I had a terrific meal here while out with friends. Varied menu with options to satisfy all palates. Good selection of beers and cocktails to accompany your choice of food. I had a bento box. Well balanced selection including meat, pickles and rice all very well seasoned. Crispy squid was also delicious.
