Our party of 10 ladies dined here last month. We were looked after attentively off staff who were polite & always smiling. Our courses were piping hot & delicious. The atmosphere was very calm & relaxed & we'll definitely repeat this experience. 10/10 on the food, absolutely delicious!!!
Meal out with friends. Unfotunately they didn't have mussels salmon or crab so I decided to have potato skins - very nice. I had a sea food pizza with tuna prawns and squid - very nice. Attentive waiting staff. Nice pleasant night.
Can only base this review from new years eve so it was exceptionally busy and I believe the staff were doing there best but they were very understaffed also it took three attempts to ask for some water before we got some. I ordered steak which was nice although it was covered in the sauce, would have been nice to pour it on and not have it swimming. Also the table places seemed very tightly packed. All in all it served it's purpose.
This is my favourite Italian restaurant ever. The inside is small but so cosy. The food is unreal. The Napoli spaghetti is amazing. Its right on the seafront. The staff are lovely and welcoming. The price is great too. And if you hit happy hour that's even better. Would highly recommend this place you can book in advance or just arrive and then hope you dont wait to long depending on how busy they are. You can also grab a drink at the bar while your waiting for a table. Good restaurant.
Corkage is extortionate. Food is mediocre at best, the prawns tasted like bad breath. Some of the staff were friendly enough whilst one chap was arrogant and was wearing trainers. Aged and tatty decoration. I believe the only reason this is still open is due to the fact that there aren't many restaurants in the area.
Don't go if you expect service after 8.30 pm. Seven of us dining and we didn't get offered desserts or coffees. Almost thrown out at 9.15! Girl serving drinks very pleasant others made us feel like we were in their way. Food mediocre.
Mamma Rosa's has spent years building up good will in the area and can be justifiably proud of its efforts. The warmth is expressed on the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. So it is with a good deal of regret that the menu has become so, well, lazy. For a restaurant with a sea view, no fish! The odd Scottish mussel only seems a little rude. Now a menu of common denominator is all that remains. Pasta and pizza, pizza bread starters and not much else. It is a shame as we loved the white bait when we were here last.
Amazing food every time. The staff are a credit to the place, especially Keith and Chris. Always a warm welcome and fabulous service. A firm favourite for us.
I had the most fantastic 50th birthday at Mama Rosas. The food was amazing all my guests loved it .The manager and staff were fantastic they made it a very special night.ive been to a lot of italian restaurants and have not found better food .Would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone who wants a meal out or a celebration .
Great value £5.50 for pasta but serving was not as large as it might have been. Friendly staff and excellent service, but restaurant a bit cold due to weather- was chilly when sat eating meal.
