We sat outside. It was a great experience. You could order and pay for your food using an app. Excellent service. The food was very tasty. The staff didn't hassle you at all to leave. I would definitely go again. This is a good example of a business who have adjusted to a difficult situation and made it work.
Been going for years plenty of out door seats right next the river perfect for the hot days.
Well organised for seating under Covid restrictions, super service, food excellent value and very tasty. We had squid , loaded potato skins, chicken wings, turf and surf on brucheta, thoroughly enjoyed. Tables were cleared, cleaned efficiently, plus the position by the river, superb.
Very nice clean and covid compliant reasurant. Food was very well cooked and great VFM. Was served by Jonathan who could not have been more helpful had a great chat about his tattoos . Then had a nice walk along the river to the lock. I would highly recomend this reasurant. Again thanks Jonathan.
Lunch today was really lovely at The Malta Inn. My steak was cooked to perfection and the triple fried chips were delicious. Dilyana our waitress was really helpful and so friendly even though see was run off her feet. Social distancing was adhered to, making us feel safe.
It’s hilarious reading some of the reviews on here, some of the complaints are just so petty. People really need to get a life . We had a wonderful drink and meal in a lovely location. I’ve been using this restaurant for 30 years and will continue to do so for another 30.
The food wasn't great, my smothered chicken was very dry and overcooked. The staff were good though, waiting staff were attentive but, for what we got, the bill was high!
