Unfortunately, they don't do anything. From a year on Malinslee, close to school and Tesco Express, teenagers have been riding motorbikes on the walkways very quickly. It is very dangerous, they can ride late at night! I have reported it many times but the Police are doing nothing about it. I don't know why we pay such a large TAX? they don't care! 0/5
Only attended once as a member of the family who was under 18 was arrested on suspicion of drug driving. The arresting officer was surprisingly sympathetic and said that his obviously his job to arrest them, even though he personally disagreed with that particular law. We were told we might have to wait a while for a doctor to attend to complete the mandatory blood test. Was told that they’d have to be put in a cell whilst we wait, and offered them a warm jumper to wear, but then the doctor turned up very promptly, so no need to put a scared youngster in a intimidating cell; for an unjust law according to the arresting officer. The officers also offered us a lift home which was really nice as they’re not obliged to. Got home really quickly too as they were doing just over 60mph on a 30mph road.
Broke a key inside a u lock locking my bike. Asked police to help. Was told to they can't help me. Taxes well spent.
"we don't deal with car incidents" is the comment I got from a policewoman at reception. Despite having witnesses and a license plate of the idiot who hit my car, it's not enough evidence. So while this coward is scott free, I'm having to deal with a dent in my car because I was at fault for not assuming there would be an incident with my car whilst I was playing football. Yes, make sense out of that for me please. West Mercia police you should be ashamed of yourselves.
From my experience the police need to swot up on medical conditions and mental health issues and deal with complaints quicker instead of dishing out crime numbers and forgetting about cases that need attention .
