Jay was not only professional but also very friendly and courteous. He provided excellent customer service, engaging in pleasant conversation while respecting my space and privacy. It's the little things, like a warm greeting and assistance with luggage, that make a big difference. Had the great pleasure of using Maldon Taxi for a trip, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, reliable, and professional. Highly recommended!
Pre-booked a taxi back from Vaulty Manor after a lovely wedding/wedding reception at a pre-arranged price which initially was fine. However I got a secondary quote after waiting around 30 minutes past the point of pickup, I had to pay inside the cab upon pickup because "There's no signal in Danbury to make the payment". Whether or not the driver was told to say that remains to be seen because anybody local would know that the signal in Vaulty Manor is nothing short of shocking, so to be told Danbury was allegedly worse is a blatant lie. Shame on the operator who told the driver to say that, disgusting and abhorrent behaviour in my opinion.
I love using this cab company. Jay is such a lovely guy and has great customer service. He is always on time and very polite!! Highly recommend!!
Needed a taxi from Maldon to Peldon I. The afternoon , called in advance and was easy to book. My driver was brilliant, would definitely use again!
I am writing this review on behalf of myself and all the other passengers, we take great pride in giving the only taxi man in the village a 5* review. Clean taxi, spacious car, safe driver and all together a very comfortable safe journey. The passengers and myself felt necessary to leave such a positive review after such a positive experience. Will definitely use again, at short notice too may I mention. Highly recommended.

I have used Maldon Taxis for quite a few years now. Very professional and clean cars. Perceived knowledge of traffic situations. Jay has gone above and beyond for me previously! I always use Maldon Taxis for my airport runs, reliable and on time. And for my airport pick ups they take my flight details and are always waiting for me on my departure from the air port. Would highly recommend.

Terrible experience. Booked 2 taxis 2 ways, to be picked up at 1.45 in Maldon to Basildon. Second taxi was 25 mins late to pick up. On the way to Basildon, I was told by the driver that the price would be more that we agreed as he had other bookings come in for more money? Either way, needed picking up at 4.30, got several calls and texts at 4pm asking when we were ready, I said it would be 4.30. The driver then left and left us with 1 5 seater car there were 11 of us, we had booked 2 7 seaters for this reason. Upon needing pickup and calling, he said we could do 3 trips this would take at least an hour and a half! we were on a stag do and had other activities lined up so this wasn't an option. The owner then said to give the 5 seater driver the rest of the money paid for over half the trip on the first journey and book an uber for the rest. Ended up telling the guy to leave, and just booked 2 7 seater ubers which ended up cheaper. Terrible experience, better off getting the bus.
