I'm not one to put up negative reviews. Much prefer to leave positive ones but was so disappointed in Happicabs tonight. My husband and I came out of a bar on time to collect our booked cab, to find him ushering other people into the cab and were told he'd 'be back in a minute'. When we companined quite reasonably about this we were met with attitude and told to 'keep your opinions to yourselves'. The driver did take us home in the end and Happicabs were apologetic when we complained on the phone. But to be honest, I'd be surprised if they do anything about it and I won't be using them again.
Rescued me from a flat tyre!! Very helpful, quick and professional person in the office, also was able to pay via an online system which was super helpful as I had only just arrived back in UK and had no cash!
Usually very good but tonight they added £4 to our already extortionate price quoted as they waited 4 minutes for us to arrive. Driver very rude, won't use them again.
Great Company. Second time I've used them from Maldon, with a car being available almost straight away, where the other cab firms in the town said no cars for at least 2 hours. Happicabs keep you updated by text and let you know the car Reg and driver name before they arrive. Well done

Made a call to Happicabs on a late Sunday afternoon. Our bus didn’t show up and we didn’t want to wait around in the cold, so we gave into getting a taxi. The Gentleman on the phone was quite prompt and got it booked for us which was great, after about 10mins, the taxi showed up. The driver welcomed us in, and the drive back was absolutely fine. In fact it was a real quiet journey as we were tired and just wanted to get back. The only thing I didn’t like was I noticed a few of these stickers on the car window that had rules written. Now fair enough with rules and what you prefer in the car, but there’s a way of saying it and I just found these stickers quite rude.. and it doesn’t really match the name of “Happy” cabs.. “Get in, shut up & Hold on” “Always watch for cops” ?? “No quoting traffic laws” I’m not sure if this is suppose to be a joke, a bit of banter.. but with there being one on each window.. and it can very much come across wrong, they need to be taken off

Attempted to book a pickup from this firm about two weeks ago, told the call handler where I needed to be picked up but they wanted me to wait further up the high street. I have mobility issues, if I could have waited where they told me to I could have saved 20+ pounds by using buses. I said that this wouldn't work for me but it took a while for the handler to listen to me and accept that I did not want this service. Thankfully another company were able to take my booking. NB I was trying to make the booking the day before I needed to travel, not expecting them to pick up asap.
