Malaysian Delight has always been my favourite Malaysian restaurant in Birmingham before Malaya Classic opened. In addition to their excellent Malaysian cuisine, their Cantonese dishes are also outstanding, such as the roast meats. Their laksa is delicious too. We had a larger group today, so we ordered several small dishes to share, some of which I hadn't tried before, like the braised platter. It would have been even better if it came with vinegar. Everything else was consistently good, and the service at this restaurant is exceptional - polite and attentive waitstaff. Highly recommended.
We came here for dinner with my nephews. For me it was my first visit. I can honestly say this is the authentic Malaysian food. The foods was delicious. It's a very busy restaurant and some customers talking so loudly. We would definitely come back here again.Food: 5/5

WOW WOW WOW!!! Unexpectedly ended up here tonight, after a failed meal round the corner see other review From the moment i popped my head in to ask for a table the service was outstanding. Atmosphere was also buzzing ordered a selection of food and all went down a treat amongst my caucasian friends. the malaysian food are very authentic and took me back to my travels. Char siu was so good we ordered extra and same with the malaysian chicken curry. For once I barely took photos...that's how good it was. Nothing was a trouble when we requested if we could cut a birthday cake here. and super service from Alvin and I think the waitress was called Marvis? oh oh and there was another waitress as well. Absolutely buzzzing after leaving here as the food was so good, Can not wait to come back in the near future to try more items. PS the smell from the cantonese chinese food also smelled seriously good!! Thank you

“I have visited multiple times, and the food quality is guaranteed. The taste is good, and the portion size is sufficient. I often eat Malaysian-style rice dishes, fried rice, and stir-fried rice noodles. Recently, they have introduced new food items. I highly recommend trying the braised platter—it has an excellent flavor, is well-seasoned, the meat is tender, and it has a rich braised aroma. I haven’t experienced this level of quality in Hong Kong before, and the price is reasonable. Sincerely recommended.”
Absolutely authentic Malaysian foods you can find here. Strong tastes but not overwhelming so just right in my opinion!Staff were super kind and helpful. You can park at nearby Edgbaston Street car park if you drive into the city centre that is only 3 mins walk from there. Pricing is reasonable you get a meal around £10 per person quite a number of main meals are between £8-£10 in the city centre of Birmingham. Lots of different choices including Malaysian, also classic Chinese/Cantonese dishes. Note that they only accept cash/bank transfer. Will definitely recommend.
Very good service attitude. Whenever I have questions, the waiters answer them perfectly and clearly. This is the best roast meat I have ever eaten in Birmingham. Of course, other food is also very delicious. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
