Maisons Coffee Shop

Usually go to Costa but there was a long queue and so I went here instead. Eerily quiet with just a couple of customers. Some sort of disused serving area at the front and decor very dated. Ordered a mocha which was surprisingly good, but the toilets really let it down. Doubt if I will go back.

Friendly, unfussy, family-friendly cafe. Generous servings at very reasonable prices.

Lovely cream tea

Poor food, needs a refurb, dark and run down. The toilets were disgusting, mould growing on the dirt on the walls. Would definitely give this place a miss

Popped in to get a nice cream tea, absolutely shocking,the place was dirty and very very run down and the cream tea well .... the clotted cream that they serve was actually butter, genuinely couldn't believe that in devon they couldn't serve cream tea correctly, will never go back to paignton or this cafe
