Nice new sushi restaurant. Good variety to eat onsite, outside, and to takeaway.
We came to Maido Sushi during the week for lunch and quite liked our experience. The place is tidy, the staff is very friendly and efficient. I went for fried eel and my other half ordered a sushi set. The food arrived within 10 minutes or so and was very tasty I look forward to coming back again. Thank you
Just a quick stop for some sushi... Lovely staff, loved the miso aubergine dish with sushi brown rice and a side of kimchi.. Filling. The fire prawn sushi was recomended by the waitress, AMAZING! Will defo come back for more sushi
Some of the best quality, tasting and priced sushi we’ve ever had. Usually eating sushi, especially in London, ends up being ridiculously expensive. Not at Maido! Very reasonably priced. Flavours and portion sizes were all phenomenal. The eel with rice was a particular highlight, but the fatty tuna rolls really stole the show. Super fun also to sit up at the bar and the restaurant is a great vibe! Will be coming back often!
Absolutely amazing quality food, lovely staff and tasty wine. I was glad to see quite generous portions of sashimi and a big selection of seafood. We'll be back!
My friend and I went here last night. Overall the experience and food was great. I ordered the duck spring rolls, octopus takoyaki and the yjo set. The duck rolls was probably the best I've ever tasted, do delicious and flavoursome. 1st time trying octopus takoyaki yummy! Can't wait to go back just to get some more. Sushi was amazing lovely and fresh. My friend had the black cod with miso with a side of broccoli and rice. She also cleared her plates. Service was good throughout, our waitress was lovely helped me open my very tricky bottle of Ramune. There was a slight delay my yjo set came out before everything else so we had to wait a couple of minutes for the rest. We was told we only had about 1.30hr at the table because they was fully booked which was fine. Can't wait to dine here again. Parking: Weekends After 6pm Street parking is free
My favourite sushi place, clean, open sushi bar, attentive staff, prompt service and tasty sushi. They have a good formula that’s hard to fault and the place I will go to over and over again. Well done Maido Sushi PS menu is ever so slightly on the simple side but given all the pluses about this place perhaps this isn’t a bad thing so I didn’t feel the need to drop any points.
Ordered a salmon and tuna deluxe platter £80 takeout online, arrived 30min ahead of the stipulated collection time and it was already prepared! Maybe it was a quiet Wednesday night. The quality and taste were much much better than expected the rice was a little dry but was ok. The portion was well, good enough for 4pax. Lots of pickled ginger and wasabi, but soy sauce was not provided guess have to order and pay for it? Anyway, will definitely go back again.
The portions are too small. other than that, tasty dishes. A lot of takeaway transactions, so, a popular place.Recommended dishesBlack Cod Roll
Their salmon will melt in your mouth. All the staff is lovely. We’ve been lucky since the blondish girl with bright eyes and ponytail who served us helped a lot, she was sweet. All the food was great, and I’ve to say it’s way better to eat there then the take away area. Maybe because if you stay there they prepare the food freshly! Very recommended
