I would like to say a massive thank you to designer Zak Khan and all his colleagues at Magnet Kitchens in Twickenham for a highly proessional and efficient service. Zak designed the perfect kitchen for me and his advice and insights were so helpful. Every detail was covered and everything was delivered as promised. When I had to call the branch, everyone I spoke to was very polite and helpful, I really can't fault them.nnWhen it came to installation, Ravinder and his team were excellent too, nothing was too much for them. Installation is perhaps the most crucial part of the experience and Ravinder did not disappoint. I really cannot speak highly enough of him. So nice to know there all still guys out there who work to such high standards!nnIf you need a new kitchen, Magnet Twickenham is the place to go, even if you have to travel a bit to get there. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Zak, Shashi, Ravinder and everyone else in the team.
I initially booked a kitchen design appointment for early June, which a rep later called to confirm. I let her know I wanted to cancel, but she went ahead and booked me in for another appointment in July without my agreement. I never received a confirmation email, and when I called on the day to check, they had no record of the appointment - a complete waste of time.nnOn a separate occasion before, I went to visit the store in person to view the kitchen displays, only to find it had been closed early without any explanation. Another young family with a baby was also left waiting outside. A total waste of our afternoon.nnIt’s a real shame this branch operates so poorly. We previously visited the Acton branch and had a much more professional experience. The staff there were knowledgeable and helpful. In contrast, the rep we spoke to in Twickenham gave us conflicting information that didn’t seem to align with anything we’d read or heard elsewhere.nnI’d strongly recommend avoiding the Twickenham branch and going to one of the nearby locations instead - they seem much better equipped to help.
Installation by Mr. Ravinder Singh and his team was amazing. They were very professional, punctual, reliable and efficient. Painter Babar did a good job very tidy and systematic.nnDesigner Mr. Zak was fantastic we felt listened to on all aspects of the design and budget. We were at ease .nOverall very happy with my new kitchen :
Chiswick - assistant ‘MS’, not customer friendly. We needed to refine previous design. Told not to use coffee machine aside seating area no staff free at time - ‘only staff and only for customers at the time of a full design consultation’. Told ‘it could get broken’. Had travelled for 1 hr to Chiswick branch. Considering unit options, MS agreed with one of the two of us consistently - not helpful. School like, disdainful customer service manner. In contrast, Kingston - sound customer service.
If you’re considering visiting this branch, or purchasing a kitchen from Magnets, my advice would be to not bother even stepping foot in there!nnWe purchased a kitchen from this branch at the beginning of 2022… since then we have had nothing but grief with both the kitchen and all staff that work for the company.nnOur kitchen cupboards started to ‘bubble’ at the edges and were replaced by magnets as a ‘goodwill gesture’ only 4 months after installation. Since then, the same issue has occurred twice again, resulting in us having to escalate our complaint to the furniture ombudsman as both Magnets warranty team, and the Twickenham manager ‘Shashi’ began to ignore all communication emails, photos, phone calls & even visits to store.nVisits to the store were met with contempt by the immature, and very ignorant teenage staff that were hired to provide their customers with attitude.nnIn hindsight, if we’d have known how awful their customer service skills were before unknowingly purchasing such poor quality products from them, we would have steered very clear.nnTake my advice & just check out their TRUSTPILOT reviews… they speak for themselves.
