Nice cafeteria, best service. Nice English style breakfast.
Go here for lunch two or three times a week. Always friendly service. Happy to take an order by phone to have it ready when pop in so do not have to wait long. The burgers are great. The jacket potatoes too. Great varied choice and cheap price. Can not recommend it enough
Stumbled upon this delightful little cafe this morning. It is tucked away a little,but is all the more charming for that. Really fantastic “home cooked” breakfast, presented perfectly and with care. In all respects like eating at home. All this and a wonderful couple presiding over a sadly fast disappearing traditional old fashioned emporium. Come on folks, let’s support this little enterprise and make sure we keep places like this alive and thriving. Will certainly be back very soon - this time with my wife.
Brilliant food and the staff so friendly, they always make you feel welcome. My breakfast is always lovely, I go in regular and wouldn't change it. Cafe very clean and food top quality food. There very friendly to talk to and always happy to help with a lot of patience :
Excellent and friendly service.The food is brilliant. Ian the cook is a happy chappy and Michelle is polite and friendly. Even the other Members of staff are friendly. £3.95 for a Full breakfast you can not go wrong.
Sandwiches might be nice, but they have to get the ordering process sorted. They don't seem to follow lists and are constantly getting the sandwiches wrong, no sauce, wrong ingredients or ingredients missing. I tend to make big orders and over last 8wks every time somebody got back to me complaining that their sandwich is wrong. Now my sandwich was completely wrong 3 times in the row, even though I've made the order taker read it back to me. Not going back.
Brilliant place to eat and such a lovley atmosphere. They may have changed hand but the food quality and amazing staff have remained with the added touch of friendly new owners. Well worth a try
Really nice sandwiches and breakfasts, not sure what else is on offer but the staff are friendly and welcoming even if we do disagree whether it is a barm, muffin or a teacake every time I come in to order a muffin. Generally a busy sandwich shop which should tell you everything you need to know. It wouldn't regularly be busy if it weren't any good. Would definitely recommend.

I wouldn't if I were you. I live in the flat above this shop and I can tell you... the guy who cooks the food doesn't wash his hands after he's been to the toilet. I only know this because when it's quiet in the flat I can hear if someone down there uses the loo... and people know that when a man uses the loo you can really hear that stuff hitting the pot! Especially if he's tall!! I can also hear whether or not the tap comes on afterwards... and it often doesn't! Hopefully the owner of the shop will see this review and realise that his unhygenic ways have not gone unnoticed.
