Lovely quirky cafe... coffee n cakes fab. Staff friendly and welcoming.
This place is fantastic! Pop along and fall down the rabbit hole! The owners James and Chloe offer fantastic food from breakfast to hot and cold sandwiches and some of the best cakes you can taste. they even cater for gluten free and raw diet requirements! Come and give them a go, but if it's a busy day, don't forget to book in advance...
Really nice place with a good selection of food and snacks. We had the breakfast which was lovely. Nice to see a place where the tea selection is more than earl grey or green tea. A proper tea menu! Decor is really quirky which is exactly how it should be. Please visit as this sort of place needs to thrive. Much better than the usual high streets full of franchise coffee shops.
Wonderful and magical place for both adults and children alike! Simply the best scones and jam i have ever tasted. Friendly helpful staff and they offer a variety of wonderful flavour cakes that you could only find in wonderland what more can i say. Highly recommended
Very disappointed after reading the great reviews. It is tatty & dirty & my little boy wouldn’t drink his milk as it was watered down. His sandwich came smothered in margarine & my wedges were burnt so inedible. The waiter did apologise & said he could see they were burnt so took £2 off , but that means we still paid £5 for the bit of ratatouille on the side. Nice service but not nice food quality & lack of care - who gives a 2 year old watered down milk?! Maybe they thought he wouldn’t be able to say. They did replace the milk in fairness, but still annoyed they’d serve it in the first place.
Very friendly staff, good gluten free options, great theme going on. Possibly a little pricey for some items. Raw, gluten-free free lime cheesecake very disappointing.
Always a great place for lunch, cake and coffee, or even afternoon tea. James makes the best cakes! And the range of teas is great. Good food and quirky decor make it complete.
The cafe has seen better days but if you can look past that, it's comfy, the food and tea is great and the staff are very welcoming. Good parking too.
Mad Hatter's is a great place. Full of friendly staff and tasty meals that are prepared in mere minutes, a refreshing chance from the often 20 minute wait for similar meals in the same area.
