We got tickets for the Paddington themed afternoon tea. What a lovely experience! All the decorations were great, every little detail made the experience even more special. The food was great with a selection of teas and cocktails to choose from; they were very accommodating as we had two vegan people in our party. The sandwich selection was fantastic, as well as the cakes. There were much food that we needed take away boxes.nWould definitely recommend and would love to come back!
My fiancée took me here for their Polar Express themed afternoon tea as a birthday gift and absolutely loved it. I have had many afternoon teas in my time and this is up there with the best!nnThe decor was awesome and the service from start to end was fantastic. Very polite and we didn't wait long for every course the place was fully booked so very busy!.nnThe sandwiches were lovely but I enjoyed the buttery plain scone the most! Then the desserts came out... wow... what a selection! Really enjoyed them all and was so impressed.nnAlthough it is quite expensive for his afternoon tea and the experience, I think you do get your monies worth due to the themes they provide every couple of months, great customer service, fantastic presentation of food, and most importantly, the food tastes great and the black tea... I had 4 cups of it!.nnI'm coming back in February for the Pirates of the Caribbean themed afternoon tea to celebrate my Mums birthday, so looking forward to seeing you guys again. Bravo!
Hands down one of the best afternoon teas we have ever been too! We went to the Polar Express themed one and will be going back in February for the next theme!nEverything was curated in every single detail: from the decor, to the staff's clothing, to the menus and cakes. An absolute gem.nThe staff was so attentive and professional and the food was so good!!n100% recommend!
This place is just wonderful! We came this time for Wicked themed afternoon tea and from start to finish, everything was superb nWe pre ordered one vegetarian and one ordinary meal, which was really easy to do online at the time of booking. If you realise you forgot to order a special requirement they are very helpful on the phone and make any adjustments necessary. If you've been to the show and loved it, know very little about the story or have no interest in the theme, it is such a great vibe that you still walk away having had a great experience. This visit was the first time we sat next door in the waiting area, which was previously just the shop. Tables were set out in cosy arrangements and really set the mood for a lovely afternoon/evening out.nThe food was really good with a constant flow of included drinks.nWould highly recommend getting your booking in early for Christmas
Went for afternoon tea and the Wicked event. You cannot fault the staff who are honestly lovely and accommodating, the decor had clearly had some real work although the creepy mannequins could be excluded. Tables are beautifully set, the savoury courses are delicious. The scones would have been better if not double baked to reheat and present warm to the table. The cakes were all pretty and I'm told lovelyhad to bring them home as I was full but was given a gorgeous little box to take them home. Overall I'd say, worth the money for the Standard tea, don't bother upgrading. The team were the highlight.
