Would have given the service one star but the staff member in hijab made up for the shocking service from her other colleagues, one of whom, when asked for help, raised her hands up and said she’s busy in a very rude tone. The other kept walking past me and could see I needed help, eventually asked me what I needed and was very brazen in her response. Service used to be great here but today was shocking
got a gift voucher of my boyfriend for my birthday and went into this Mac to spend with an hour until close. After wondering around for about 25 minuets not knowing what to spend this on as I’ve never used Mac products I went over to the girls which in the process of me walking around aimlessly had all started to gather in a line as if they were shuffling what few customers there were out . I explained my gift card situation and that I was a new customer, they were polite when spoken to but unhelpful and were quick to mention they’d be closing soon so if I wanted to spend my gift voucher and enjoy the full Mac experience then to come back another day when they haven’t been so busy and aren’t closing in the next 35 mins. We’d come all the way into London so I could spend my gift voucher so I didn’t want to leave empty handed. I asked what the best selling product was and she recommended EVERYTHING in about 20 seconds.I also asked about any packages or bundles but She just mentioned I should come back another day AGAIN as they were closing soon…still 30 mins to close. I quickly picked a fix + spray ill informed of any products and left as I was beginning to be made to feel like a nuisance and not someone who had a gift voucher to spend with a significant amount of money on and can only do this in store or online. I feel they didn’t help at all and in turn I spent some money on a gift card because I was rushed out well before they are supposed to shut. I don’t think it’s right I wasnt informed of any products within depth or offered any proper description of anything!! when I asked about foundation nobody even wanted to help me find a shade. I’m so disappointed this was what I was shown by Mac MUAS. I’ll have to wait to spend my gift voucher now I initially wanted to order online after going in store and getting to know products and shades but guess I’ll do that in a few weeks but I’ll definitely be going to a different store!!! My boyfriend was mortified as the security guard was also watching us both like a hawk!! I would’ve better spent the money I did on the card if I was better informed of any products AT ALL and Any bundles or promotional sets as after looking online these are perfect for a first time Mac product user.
Best customer service ever! The staff are so lovely and understanding. I want to highlight Andrea and Harriet who I spoke to. They both were do friendly and made me feel comfortable. Especially since I don't use makeup all the time. They explained about their make up lessons and offered to book me in. I just appreciating good customer service and out of all the make up shops I have entered, this one is the best I have entered.
The service was shocking, asked for help with foundation matching and was told to wait, waited 20 minutes and the lady never came back. So I asked another lady and she matched me too a very dark shade and I’m very pale so I kept checking with her.She assures me it would work on my skin. So I eventually bought the foundation and I got home and tried it on and it’s way too dark for my skin and is very orange. Very disappointed with the customer service and would advise u strongly to avoid this store. Would give it no stars to be honest.
The store is naturally busy, products do run out and I did have to go to another MAC store to purchase the rest of what I wanted but, the service I received from Lais was outstanding!! She is a gem inside and out and looks stunning! Thank you!! Now stocked up with a years supply of make up for my return to Osaka... hopefully MAC will make darker shades available for purchase in Japan at some point *hint hint* pretty please :
I am very happy with my experience at M.A.C because the staff were really friendly and helped pick out my shade for brows and concealer. Especially a staff member called Danielle was extremely helpful and did my makeup. 5 out of 5
I visited last week, and I met Jin with red hair make up artist, and she was super kind. She suggests me many products that well match with me, and so friendly that me and my mom was really impressed. Thank you so much !
Rude, obnoxious and unprofessional customer service. I could see young flocks of untrained and obnoxious staff who do not wear name badges nor are dressed professionally, so you never know who to approach. Don't bother if you're wearing an office suit - they will bump into you and walk away.
The actual Mac stall is great and I had no problems with finding what I needed. However in Selfridges I’ve never experienced such customer service. I understand that it can get very busy during the day especially at an epicentre like Mac in Selfridges but It’s surprising how out of touch some of the people they hire are. I go to Mac once every couple of months and there always tends to be new workers, my experience hasn’t always been like this as it really depends on the workers. This recent time was pretty dull as I was ignored twice aswell as one worker who saw I was finding trouble with the foundation for 5 mins decided to completely ignore me. I’ve worked in retail so I know how working 8 hours on your feet dealing with 100 people in a couple hours can be draining but I would recommend that workers be trained to talk and deal with heavy customer flow in a more positive and tentative way because it makes the shopping experience better for both parties.
Customer service here is rubbish, not professional at all. They don't bother at coming towards you to see what you need, and when you ask them for help, it seems like it strongly annoys them. I have been there several times so I know what I'm talking about. Never go there and prefer the MAC counter in Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge.
